We were there for a funeral at Arlington National Cemetery. The location was very close. It was nice to have the kitchen, laundry facilities and ironing board. BTW: we planned to order groceries from a nearby Giant Store. GPS took us to the location, but it was an apartment building. Eventually we were able to talk to a store manager and get directions: there is no parking lot. You go to an underground parking garage, then take an elevator up and go down a corridor. Once inside it is a full store.

There is only one parking spot and it is tight. There is on street parking, but it is a walk. The concrete stoop at the front door is not level and both my sister-in-law and I fell trying to bring in suitcases. The website photos are misleading. We thought the patio was off the living room, however it was at basement level and only accessible through a bedroom. That same bedroom had no lamps, only one overhead light. There were no towel bars or toilet paper holders in the bathrooms. The downstairs bath had no exhaust fan. Cleanliness was an issue. The towels were stained and smelled dirty. There was a washer/dryer in the basement, so I washed them myself. Unfortunately, there was no laundry detergent, so we had to purchase our own. The carpeting was dirty. Our adult niece slept on the sofa bed in the living room and the mattress pad was dirty. We had planned to let her have one of the bunkbeds, but they were extra small (obviously child sized), and she wouldn't fit. There were no paper towels in the kitchen, again we bought our own. At checkout we were asked to wash, dry and put away dishes, strip the beds and pile up sheets and towels, empty all the trash cans and make sure all lights were turned off. This was more than we'd ever been asked to do at any other place we've rented. This paired with the poor housecleaning led me to think they may not have been actually cleaning between rentals.
