Great layout for a family that is a rare find with some hotels. There was a ton of storage space in the room so things didn't feel thrown about and disorganized for a long stay. The bathroom being divided into a toilet and shower room with a sink in the main room was nice for everyone to have privacy and use simultaneously.

Bring your own shampoo, only conditioner and body wash provided. One morning during our stay the water was turned off for maintenance without notice, luckily we had all finished showers and getting ready but that would have been really unfortunate. Assuming it was an emergency fix, but some communication would have been appreciated.

Everything was great except the black furniture in the room, it makes the room darker, lights are not enough to see the inside of the wardrobes. And one more thing, it is not possible to open the windows, to get sone fresh air, it is necessary i guess.

Breakfast, staff , location very good indeed.

I wish the booking email would have been more informative as to where to park our car. We wandered about for a bit, finally called them and they told us to park at "Bruchte" parking(we paid).

Restaurant looked lovely Hotel was in the centre of town handy for all amenities and railway station to the airport also in the country best of both worlds

Zaandam is a lovely, quiet neighborhood, family friendly. Close to Amsterdam by train and to Zaanse Sachs to see the windmills. We could leave our bags at the hotel, after checkout, with no additional charge.

The rooms were lovely, newly furbished and clean.

Self-check in and lack of available staff made the experience very impersonal. No instructions in the room on how to contact reception, where breakfast was held etc. No facilities / extras at the hotel, just the room and a restaurant in an adjoining building.
