Casa Basa was wonderful! All staff are some welcoming, kind, and friendly. I rented a motorbike to use during my stay, and Mich kindly gave me a quick tutorial on how to use it. The property is a 5-10 minute ride from the main General Luna area, but I preferred this; it was so peaceful and quiet at the accommodation. They were also working to make the Starlink internet even better during my stay—this made it easier for me to get some work done. There were occasional power outages due to the island-wide power issues, but Casa Basa has a backup generator, so things were restored quickly. Breakfasts and smoothies were delicious, and the adorable dogs were also a big plus for me. It was a wonderful stay and I would love to visit again the next time I come to Siargao! Thanks to the whole team!

My only tip would be to make sure not to leave anything on the bathroom floor when you take a shower—sometimes the water makes it all the way across the floor and soaks even the bathmat :)

The whole staff was exceptionally accommodating and responsive. Whatever we needed Mitch and the staff were on top of it (massage, airport transfers, tricycle). It around 5-10 minutes from the town center so just enough quiet. Less than 5 minutes walk from the main road. Rooms were spacious.

We really enjoyed this accommodation. Casa Basa is new and very nice and stylish. Everything is clean. The location is calm, so when you want to rest a little bit from the night life in General Luna, that’s the place. Also the food was very good there, we liked their breakfasts and coffee. Owner Ralf and his family are so nice and helpful, we were feeling really good here, they are so warm, kind and hospitable. They help us a lot with our traveling trough the island. Everything was perfect highly recommended!

Everything perfect! Large room. Very friendly hosts. Value for money is fantastic. We were able to rent the scooter directly at the property. Island hopping could be booked directly at the hotel. Laundry service is also provided by the property. Breakfast very tasty. By far the best accommodation we have booked in the Philippines. Highly recommended!

Power cuts sometimes but that is expected on a island and not the propertys fault. They turn on the generator when it happens which is great.

Mitch and Reese were the best hosts! We cannot say enough good things about them. They're super professional and handled all of our requests, bookings, transport, questions, recommendations etc with ease! You can tell they take your stay seriously. The dogs George and Coco are soo sweet. The rooms were large with great A/C and spotless! Great water pressure. Awesome wifi. Really good coffee in the morning. Location is a short moto ride from GL proper so nice and quiet. New Motos for rent. Loved it! Would definitely go back.
