The new owners haven't been in charge long but they are completely doing it up.its brilliant.

Absolutely brilliant food is superb.

Nice hotel, good breakfast and a fabulous view from our room. It's rather dated, in some ways charming in others less so, but very nice staff and good value for money.

Really nice stay it was only for one night to see a show but hotel was clean all the staff went out of there way to help. Breakfast was very good , for a budget hotel I would recommend to anyone

We stayed over night and it was a very pleasant stay. The outside looks a bit out dated but once inside it was lovely and fresh decor and the room was a bit on small side (green view) but was good for what we needed. If staying for more then a night try get a bigger room. Breakfast was lovely also staff friendly and polite. There was a lift in the property but if it was very tiny only 2 people max. Will defo recommend coming here and defo be coming back again in the future .

This place has seen better days but was perfectly adequate for a room for a night. The breakfast was very good

It was clean, the beds were comfortable. Breakfast was good, they had vegetarian options. It could do with updating especially the bathroom.

Comfortable room, quiet, adequate parking at the front of the hotel and a good price. Excellent English breakfast.

The hotel has new decor which is lovely even new beds which was very comfortable I hope the bathroom will be next all the staff was friendly and approachable the breakfast was perfect can't wait to stay again

Would fully recommend this hotel. Amazing views over the sea front. Room was clean and appeared newly decorated. Bed comfortable and linen brilliant white. Only downside would appear to be lack of parking during the day.

Great location with fantastic views of the sea. The staff were amazing and couldn’t have done more for us.

We arrived before check in time and asked if it would be okay to park at the hotel, the receptionist said it was fine. They took our details and said our room was ready if we wanted to check in, which we did, this was 2 hours before our stated check in time. We found all staff at the hotel very welcoming and happy to help. Would definitely recommend to others.

Staff and owner really friendly and helpful. New owner is gradually upgrading everything. Overall i would recommend for value and friendliness.

Room needs much updating but the hotel staff are very welcoming, rooms are gradually being updated. Good breakfast, nice bar area and great position near beach, parking was a little difficult. All in all happy with stay. Very reasonably priced.

Very small room, however everything else was fine and the location excellent.

Books because it was advertised with parking. On our arrival T 15:00 (earliest we could) all the parking was taken and we were told it is a first come basis. Didn’t help that they had a wedding party there. When we got to the room it was vile, small, old, tired and damp. It was dirty and damp stains everywhere, on the carpet walls and ceilings. The window would not lock and all the wood was rotten. Would not go back and stay, even if it was free. Room 306.

Lovely sea view and tasty breakfast.

The rooms are very dated you request for the room to be cleaned and they go in and then do nothing and leave - the staff are hit and miss at breakfast first day awful service and issues with the food 2nd day the food and service were better - a selection to pick for breakfast and cooked fresh lovely bar area and front outside area - will be nicer when the back Garden is complete easy walking access to the beach and town - slight incline on the way back

Hotel a little dated. Maybe in need of a bit of refurb. Staff really friendly, very helpful and great service Breakfast was nice Good value for money
