Good vibes in this hostal, and a great location, walking distance from the nice areas. Great price too. Big kitchen.

The staff introduced us to the quiet hours at arrival and then was partying in the yard 2 hours after these hours. Since our window was facing the yard it made it hard to sleep. Our room had mold in the ceiling, but at least they gave us a better room to compensate.

The room was quiet and bed comfortable and we had no trouble sleeping. It was well positioned to access the fun parts of the city. Up the road is possibly the best pizza in South America.

The kitchen facilities there are limited so we decided to eat out instead of cook. The bathroom within our room had a slight sewage smell and was getting quite dated.

I tried to communicate with them by phone and email because a late check in and I never received an answer. But finally everything was ok.

Privacy and location

They didn't answer the messages I sent before our arrival, so we didn't know if they were waiting for us. Bed sheets were not clean, and the towels that I hanged in the patio were put in a basket with dirty clothes :).

Very well-equipped kitchen, quiet neighborhood, good shower, nice staff, nice mural and wall painting in the hostel as well as the neighborhood

The attached bathroom in the female dorm is very small (but you could always use the ones outside that are bigger), a pretty steep uphill trek to get to the hostel

Ricardo was a great host! Great atmosphere and a safe and nice area. Would recommend.

The staff was very friendly and quick for help. We have a problem with the shower of the original bedroom and they find a solution immediately.

The owner was very helpful, Friendly and spoke English. The location was great. The room was clean the bathroom was clean and fresh. All in all everything was great. It changed my view of Hostals. We would absolutely stay there again.

Hosts do not speak English, but they try really hard (; the garden and kitchen are really nice, so is the building itself. Really spacious room. Had a fun gettogether with some national liquor (and the host started to speak English a lot better haha)

Personally, didnt care much for the location.

Wifi and location. (even though it meant having to use a steep staircase down to the city center where "drunk, homeless people on drugs etc" was hanging out).

Dirty old hostel. Female dorm very small and smelly. Old worn out sheets, cold (no heater), the wooden floor was making loud noises walking on it. Bathroom and showers dirty and bad water pressure. Had to tell the staff several times to fill up with toilet paper and soap. Breakfast very poor. The female volunteer stayed up until 4.30am partying with some of the guests one night and continued so even when I told them to stop because they were disturbing our sleep!!!

Awesome place with great staff! Very good hostel to choose!! Room was clean and comfy. Great common room and a really beautiful backyard to relax and meet people. Thank you. Highly recommended!

Excellent well informed staff. I was provided with a map and suggestions of things to do upon check in. Everyone was friendly and warm, we had drinks in the night but were courteous of the neighbors when it was late.

Breakfast was bread and jam and tea or coffee. some cheese or yogurt would have been a good addition. The hostel was in a quiet area, not super active but staff gave great directions of how to get to places (grocery, bus station, etc)

Located on cerro Bellavista right around the corner from the open air museum and all the great sites in valpo. The hostel was nice and staff are friendly, perfect for someone who is traveling solo too
