It was conveniently located. Staff were very helpful
The dog (Alsatian) on the properly was a little intimidating for people that don’t like dogs- me! The owner did his best to keep him/her away but it still would bark and I was not comfortable with it being around. We also had a large leak in the room. A lot of rain had fallen but still, it was not ideal for this to happen.

The location was a 5-10 minute walk from the main downtown area. Air conditioning was a plus!!! Beds were comfortable - plenty of space. Noise level was quiet for sleep
There are three families living in three units below you who can easily watch your comings and goings. Owner asked us to pay in cash upon arrival. We were really taken aback by this. Manager said she sent us a message but it was sent while we were on the airplane. When discussing she told us there is a bank down the street. We were tired from all day of traveling and wanted to move on instead of fighting this… we paid in cash but we were not happy!!! *Not only did Booking.com inform us credit card accepted but we prefer to pay by cc as an extra insurance for our vacation.
**Not sure why but location was difficult to find using a navigator. There is no sign as it’s a residential property renting out units.

In a very quiet spot of La Fortuna, if you are lucky with the weather you have a perfect view of the Volcano. The room was very big with a comfortable king size bed.
Staff was very friendly.
The only thing I would suggest is to get better lighting in the room. The existing one are white and very bright, I think a more cosy yellow light will suit better the room and provide a better atmosphere.

The location is 5 mins from the center, the room is spacious and bed super comfy. The staff were super friendly and helpful. I like the fact they cute have cats and dogs around

I liked the entire apartment (AC, nice shower, cleanliness, huge bed), the wonderful hosts (responsive and always available to help - Rodney works at a hostel in town and knows his business and Natalia works to book tours of local attractions which was incredibly helpful. Rodney's mom even cooked a nice meal for me!), and I appreciated that the apartment was just outside the town center so you had some peace and quiet, but could still easily access the center with a 5 minute walk.
I think the room just needs a few more finishing touches (more utensils and cutlery, a bedside table, maybe a small stove to do a little cooking if possible, maybe a TV that can connect to YouTube or something like that) but overall it was really quite a nice stay.
