The stairs which were undisclosed in photos without proper handrails made it inaccessible especially with luggage. Even a couple I met at the same time complained about the stairs. I am still awaiting the promised refund. Instead of risking life and limb on the third floor which I could see from below where there were no proper rails and bannisters I had to cancel it immediately and although promised a refund I am still awaiting it. The host Josh said he had just had chemotherapy but would have helped. I said that would not be a solution as I would also have to come down and couldn't even ask my cousin from Reading to come backwards and forwards. The apartments are over a laundry with no stopping on a one-way system. The pictures on Booking.com are misleading. I am a fit person who walks 26k. This apartment should be removed from Booking.com or mention the stairs. It's only a pity I didn't take photos of the stairs. I manged two floors but when I saw the third floor with no railings at all I thought my life was more important and didn't go further. I carefully went back down and the disgruntled couple helped me to Ibis Budget with my luggage. This site is dangerous. Please give me a refund. I have a log of the WhatsApp conversations and a screenshot of the photos on the Booking.com site. I cancelled my 4-day stay immediately.

Good location, only a few minutes from the metro station. Close to coffee shops, banks and bus stop. Well appointed kitchen, bathroom and sitting room areas.

Very soft mattress. The three apartments are positioned over three floors, with narrow stairs and no elevator (not so friendly if you are carrying a heavy backpack). I was surprised at the hefty cleaning fee of 76 dollars (GBP 60) charged in advance, for an apartment that would require around 90 minutes to clean (I am a university lecturer and don't get paid 50 dollars an hour to teach). This is particularly hefty if you stay only one night, with minimal use of the facilities. I was not pleased to receive several emails reminding me to take care of the cleaning before checking-out (wash the dishes, put away utensils, tidy up, etc.) in addition to having already paid the cleaning fee. After dozens of bookings on Booking.com, it was the first time I was charged a cleaning fee AND asked to clean up before checking-out .

The location is safe and excellent, you have everything you need within proximity, and the train station is 5 min walking distance. The host is very kind and helpful. The apartment is clean and modern. I enjoyed my stay, it was very comfortable and super cosy, especially when it rains.

A very immaculate flat. We were provided with an upgrade free of charge, the flat was clean and had a high end and professional finish, such a lovely place to stay in, had a big TV, free tea, coffee, milk and biscuits. A nice kitchen, bedrooms and bathroom, Would definitely stay again, was traveling back from a three week trip to hajj and needed a break before driving up north after landing in heathrow, a nice end to an amazing trip.
