Loved my stay at the Dorothea! Friendly and welcoming staff, reception staff were always willing to help us with any queries. The room was lovely and had stunning views from the balcony unto the garden/ restaurant area. Spa and pool were great too. Will definitely recommend and visit again in the future!

The hotel itself is beautiful and Spa service is amazing but rest unfortunately is just the opposite. Service at main reception is incredibly slow and staff is fake polite, who don’t really care. We arrived early and knew checkin isn’t until 3pm, so we booked a massage and asked if we can get room 15mins earlier but got it at 3.30pm. We didn’t mind much and thought these things can happen. Ordered 2 drinks from there bar, which took over 30mins to arrive so we cancelled (me and my wife were the only 2 at the time and they had 2 staff members). Had similar experience at bar in the evening and our guests were told off rudely to sit and wait. The breakfast was amazing but again the wait was incredible as we didn’t get our coffees for over 30mins again. All others guests at breakfast were also frustrated due to slow service and a table next to us just left in anger.
I’d suggest if you like 5* hotels with great service, there are plenty others to choose from but miss this one.

I’ve stayed at hotel for 3 days. It’s very new facilities and no stress while staying. If I allowed to say only one negative thing is I requested breakfast boxes because I needed to leave early due to flight time but I couldn’t receive the box by hotel side mistake. Other than that, I felt comfy and I want to start this hotel again if I have chance to be there.

Hotel is in a good location with lots of restaurants close by, no views but in great condition.
Only issues were very hot rooms as air conditioning couldn’t cope. We requested rooms (2) on high floor with Atrium view but didn’t receive these.

The best hotel we have stayed at. Beautiful, like staying in a museum. The food was amazing at the Pavilion restaurant and also at the bar/cafe where we went for a nightcap every evening. The room was beautiful big bathroom with plenty of space for our toiletries. The staff gets the highest credit everyone so nice and friendly, attending to our every need with interest and professionalism, nothing impossible. We loved staying at Dorothea and can’t wait to be back.

Excellent hotel and location. Staff are extremely nice and helpful. The room was a great size with everything we needed (but do need to put English breakfast tea in room). The bed very comfortable and so quiet. The hotel is in an excellent location just off the square near Madam Tussaud’s. Breakfast was an excellent selection. Just need to iron out a few teething problems with room service and the cleaning staff to be a little more observant. Once that is done it will be perfect.

Electricity cut out every 30 minutes in first room, and maintenance could not fix so we had a terrible first night w/o air conditioning. Then we’re downgraded a room w/o telling us the next day.

This is a beautiful and brand new hotel. They are still working out a few kinks. But the staff was wonderful and so helpful. I hope to come back again. It is a stunning property!
