Small bathroom

The staff was friendly, patient and helpful during our stay more so cause we experienced being double booked twice. The apartment was very clean, and the sea view topped it all.

Location and set up.

Very,very bad service!!!!!!! A nightmare ! Worst booking experience of my life !! What we thought was going to be a lovely weekend getaway turned to a nightmare !!!!! We had cold showers 2 nights out of our 3 night stay. The hot water stopped working and it took the staff two days to assess what was wrong. For the entire duration of our stay, no plumbers came out and the establishment staff said there was nothing they could do about it! They offered a downgrade on the room which was not what we paid for and refused to make another plan. They also didn’t clean the room. One has to make arrangements and pre book cleaning services which is what we did on the onset. To our utter disappointment when we came to our room which had no hot water, they still had the audacity to say they couldn’t clean the room because it was out of their cleaning hours. To date we have had no formal apology or even A refund for the total inconvenience this establishment caused us. They are so unorganised that they also kept sending us notifications of non payment and we had to send proof of payment a few times for the total lack of service from this establishment!!!!!

All staff were super friendly. Security at the gate directed us to parking and then told us where the desk was for the keys. The desk is manned all day until late so had no problem getting the key to the room. The room itself was lovely, very well equipped and everything easy to use. Location wise very central in Umhlanga, big shopping centre on your doorstep within a 2 min drive.

The only one issue we had was that water in the shower was cold in the mornings, but in the afternoon / evening it heated up. Wasn’t much of an issue, it wasn’t freezing just a bit less than luke warm but just made them quick! The other would just be security. If the guards had their back turned I imagine anyone could sneak past and get in as the access door by the car park is open and you can walk all the way up to the rooms. Might be worth making that door accessible via a code or key only, as the bedroom doors could probably be easily broken into.
