The location is very safe and peaceful. We were greeted by a very friendly host. The breakfast was exceptional.

Very modern hotel, refurbished in Nov 2023. We were in a superior mountain view room , nice verandah , lovely shower and microwave, mini fridge and drip coffee. A little hard to fully assess the hotel as they are not fully operational, hot pools open in June, guest laundry no machines as yet ( didn’t need either,but would have been good to have) Free parking, wifi. I found the bed a bit too firm for me.

We were awake at 6am both morning and still awake at 1130-1145pm both nights due to a family down the corridor, banging doors as they did not have an interconnecting room and had to use the corridor. Banff is also very expensive!!

We like to design of the room, bath room, kitchenette, and the amenities. Slick, clean, and modern. We enjoyed the morning drip coffee, the bed and pillows, plenty of towels, covered parking. The bus stop is in front of the hotel.

The pool hasn't opened yet, so basically we do not have any activities in the hotel. The hotel is far from the downtown, but this is something that we knew before we booked the hotel.

Beautiful new accommodation 10-15 minute walk from Banff center. At this moment a part of the hotel is still under construction! The lobby and rooms are clean, and very comfortable. The rooms are well equipped. Excellent shower. A big plus is the hotel restaurant: Sudden Sally with excellent breakfast/lunch options, we also had a really tasteful dinner at this restaurant; so I recommend this place for food and drinks! Good and dry parking options underneath the hotel. I liked the walk to Banff center, the hotel also offered a free bus pass (bus stop in front of hotel) that takes you into Banff town.

I rated the hotel an 8/10 at this moment, I can see it as a 9/10 when construction has finished (with pool availabilities etc..). But be aware at this moment construction is still ongoing. I must admit that the rooms that are now in use, probably have no (or almost no) noice disturbance anymore from the construction. I like my coffee, and I do not mind the effort, but I can imagine that many guests will be a little put off with the slow-drip " do it yourself" filter coffee in the room. For me it was particularly the effort to pre-order the free coffee for the next day or run by the lobby to get extra filters.

I loved the sustainability thoughts on the coffee and tea in your room. The rooms were extremely neat and tidy, and the front desk staff was very well informed.

I wish it was slightly closer to the main town area; however, you can drive or grab a taxi or bus if you don't want to drive. The steep hills driving to our room were a little tricky, but we got familiar with them.

I recently booked a five-night stay at hotel Canoe & Suites, and it was an experience worth raving about. The hotel managed to exceed my expectations in every aspect. One of the highlights of my stay was dining at the hotel's restaurant, which offered an array of delicious food. Moreover, waking up to the breathtaking mountain view from my room each morning was nothing short of magical. The heating system makes the air quite dry, it could be an idea to install humidifiers in the room. However we opened the windows for a bit and the issue is resolved. Not really something we didn’t like but just a suggestion.

Very nice hotel, friendly and helpful staff.

Need to have better heating systems. The aircon in the room makes air extremely dry, there is no any option to control humidity in the room. Lack of basic items in the room, such as : Drinking water, teaspoons, toilet brash.

I like the style of the room, cleanliness, location and especially the view from our room is amazing.

i wish they have an iron for clothes.

Some amenities were not open yet given it was just reopened after a multi year renovation (bar, pools)

very clean and little extras like pour over coffee and fresh milk was lovely

it is pretty far from the centre of Banff but the walk did us good will be happy to come back when the hotel is completely renovated

Brand new building. Heated enclosed parking. Staff very helpful.

It was very cold (-20c) requiring the in suite hvac unit to run almost continuously. Unfortunately the fan was extremely noisy. The staff was aware of the problem as others have complained. They did provide us with a space heater that was marginally quieter.

The place was still under construction so that's how new it is. Units were new and clean, we had fresh ground coffee and real cream for the mornings. Our fire place was nice to warm up after being outside. It was quiet and the bed was comfortable.

No gym , some things like the pool were still being built. The location can be an issue if you are going back and worth to the downtown area but you get a free bus pass to use. Issues were catching the buses at the right times but we managed quite well.

It was clean and accesible to all!
