A lovely little guest house with a feeling of home. The room had a french balcony and was well equipped for a short stay. The communal kitchen was a nice touch as you got to see everyoner else who was staying. Breakfast is a DIY affair with fruit, bread, ham, cheese and pastries. Excellent value for the price.

Everyting was really good. It is accessed via a number of stairs at the top of the building so luggage can be a challenge.

Es war kein Frühstück inbegriffen. Trotzdem stand Obst, Toast etwas Käse und Kaffeekapseln bereit. Allerdings waren die LM am nächsten Morgen fast alle von anderen Gästen aufgefuttert:) Das Zimmer sah genauso aus wie abgebildet. Für den Preus haben wir nicht mehr erwartet. Die Gastgeber waren extrem freundlich.

Die Zimmer waren etwas laut. Um mit geschlossenen Fenstern zu schlafen war es zu heiß. Wie in der Beschreibung liegt das Zimmer im 4ten Stock ohne Fahrstuhl. Unsere Koffer wurden netterweise vom Gastgeber hochgetragen. Die Küche ist sehr dürftig ausgestattet. Z.B. Keine Tassen, Schälchen uvm was fehlte.

Tolles Zimmer, mit allem, was man braucht, die Küche hat alles was man braucht ein Badezimmer mit Toilette, und ein extra Toilette, die beide gemeinschaftlich genutzt werden. Die Gastgeberin ist unglaublich freundlich!

Location was nice and the hosts were very kind.

Room was in top floor of four-story building so getting luggage up was a difficulty. Rental is for a shared space - shared bathroom and kitchen - so not really private or entirely quiet. Window and ceiling area around window in kitchen had black mold so this would not be a good place for people with a mold sensitivity.

1. We arrived at 10 pm and a friendly, polite female staff met us in the street outside the address. It turned out our room was not suitable for a family of 3, but she quickly accommodated us with an extra room, so we were not stranded. 2. The room itself was basic but clean. 3. Some fruit, juices and individually packed vanilla muffins were offered free of charge.

1) Website feedback said that the address is close to the airport (15 mins) but we found it difficult to identify the correct bus there so it took nearly an hour. The buses there need to be paid cash in small change. 2) The room price was very cheap, so we should perhaps expect that the location was in a run-down building on the top floor, without a lift. 3) We expected an "air b&b" situation, where you share the small loo and bathroom of the flat with the owners/ main residents. But instead, this flat is run like a hostel and you share the bathroom with an unknown number of people (4 or 5 bedrooms). 4) The rooms are not soundproof, being an ordinary flat so you can hear doors and bathroom activities throughout the night. 5) Booking.com suggested these rooms as suitable for a family but they are not really. By my own fault, I did not double check if there will be a sofa bed for our 12 year old and they didn't know he was part of the booking anyway. (I had searched for family rooms on booking.com, so not sure what happened there.) Of course, the extra room that 1 parent slept in had to be charged extra, so that brings the price up to the region of a regular hotel family room elsewhere. 6) I would not want to arrive at night as a lone female or with a young family at this hostel, sorry. Travelling on next day: From this location it is almost 1 hour to central Lisbon by bus. 7) Travelling in April, the flat looked and felt quite humid. There was condensation on the room windows and some mold on the kitchen ceiling. It smelled neutral though, and was swept clean with clean sheets.
