We couldn't have picked a more tranquil home ! This is our 1st time ever renting a home & such a beautiful experience. From the cleanness to everything you need . The kitchen was stocked & labeled. The location was perfect. We were a family of 5 adults 3 children. How great to walk out back door & RIGHT on the beach.
The owners were so accommodating ! We will go back.

Adele has thought of every detail for a guest to enjoy their stay. This is our third trip to Amelia and our best one yet. The beach, the beach stuff she has, the outdoor shower, the table are all so amazing. She has everything you need kitchen wise to make a dinner, snacks, whatever you need. This home comes highly recommended by myself and my family. We will be back!!!

This property was everything it claimed to be and more. The size of the house was just right for the eight of us. Privacy, but with a place for family time too. It was the cleanest and most well stocked property I have ever rented. This is very much appreciated. I was very comfortable using everything in the kitchen because it was all new and updated and clean. I'm not going to cook on some rusted nasty skillet like I've seen at other properties. The proximity to the beach was amazingly close! We could watch the kids play on the beach from our chairs on the deck. Stores and restaurants very close. It even provided beach chairs and beach towels. How nice it was not to have to load those in the car to bring. Clean, decorated beautifully, comfortable, and so close to the water--what more would you want?

We absolutely loved our stay at Adele’s beautiful home. We’ve been coming to Amelia for many years and have rented many condos and homes. The home was updated, had all the amenities we needed, and was one of the cleanest (if not the cleanest) homes we’ve ever stayed in on the island. We will definitely be coming back.

This home deserves more than 5 stars! Its renovation was so well done. It was decorated beautifully (no carpet anywhere!) amazingly organized with every possible amenity, and the location was perfection. Simply follow the path off the lower patio, and you are in the ocean in one minute. We felt as if we had our own private beach. The garage has sooooo many great beach toys, chairs, umbrellas, and even a wagon for your use to take things down to the beach. The outdoor shower with hot and cold water came in very handy. Things to note: You must take stairs to get to living and kitchen area. (We had my 92 year old mother in law with us. So we had to help her with the stairs. We also had 2 young children with us and had to move a number of accessories out of their reach to do some “childproofing”. This was no problem… just something to know and do first when you enter with young children. Overall a fabulous beach house!!!!

Our group of girlfriends, ages 65-80, thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this beautiful home right on the beach. All aspects were comfortable - walks on the beach, eating at the downstairs outdoor dining table, watching the sunrise on the upper deck, the bedding, and ability to prepare our meals and more. For those who have not been to Fernandina, you should go and include time downtown in your stay. Thank you to our host!

Everything was so comfortable and perfect! From booking to checkout everything was smooth and uncomplicated! The hostess was so accommodating and had the sweetest welcome gift for us! The house offered the best seat for sunrise and coffee. The kids had plenty of room to play indoors and outdoors and the outdoor shower was a huge bonus for getting all of the sand rinsed off and the kids shower knocked out! Another huge plus was the beach chairs, toys, and activities that are available for use, saved me a ton of headache on loading all of our stuff up from home and bringing! We will definitely stay here again!

Lovely, well-appointed home! Adele truly thought of everything - from an incredible coffee maker and bathroom toiletries to everything you might need for the beach. My favorites included sitting on the deck with a coffee to watch the sunrise, the close proximity to the beach, and ability to walk to nearby restaurants and mini golf. We really enjoyed our time!

Adele's home is the perfect beach getaway option - we were a group of family and friends, and we enjoyed the beautiful views, incredibly easy beach access and Adele's well-appointed home. I've stayed in many vacation rentals, and this has all the little things any group of family or friends would love. Adele was a gracious host who couldn't have made it easier for us. Highly recommend staying here.

WOW WOW WOW are my first thoughts when reviewing this 5 star beautiful home!
My family and I were looking to rent a home in Amelia for 2 weeks this summer and so we tried out a few on the beach before we committed. This house on Fletcher was by FAR our favorite. We have been going to Amelia for 9 years now. It's our favorite place to vacation - our favorite beach -and we love the town and all the wonderful restaurants.
We have rented many VRBO homes in the area and after all these years, we found "our" beach house that we will rent in the future.
The home is newly remodeled, beautifully decorated, clean, fully equipped and has very comfortable mattresses, bedding, towels etc. It has the most spectacular view and proximity to the beach that we have ever experienced.
The kitchen is very well equipped with the top of the line appliances, cookware, dishes and all the incidentals that you would want or need.
The only negative is that the mattresses, cookware, etc are nicer than what we have at our house so my husband is in trouble!
