It was as advertised, so certainly didn't disappoint us; It's a good venue, but rectifying some small issue could make it much better!

The shower was way to small to use; the cubicle was double-sided sliding door that didn't allow easier access. The access may be an issue, to some visitors, we either went outside, via the side entrance doorway, outside to come into the main bar area, or you could access internally via thr Sports bar area, which was rowdy and noisy for some???

Staff unfriendly Room was ice cold Bed was hard - mattress was so so old Form supple or offer breakfast- no eggs! Was a really unpleasant experience

Although my husband and son enjoyed their stay I am a bit disappointed. When I spoke to a lady regarding the room only being a twin and therefore having no ensuite, also my husband not being able to encounter a lot of stairs, she said she was out but on her return she would upgrade to a family room for extra £5 and arranged payment upon arrival. Also said she would try to secure one with few stairs. This was fantastic. But upon their arrival they were given a twin room on the top floor, which was a bit disappointing. Pleased they only stayed for one night as the stairs crippled my husband. But must say the hotel along with the food was spot on, would stay again.

The size of the room

When entering the volume of the mic and music was so loud I had to keep repeating my name and that I had reservation. When noise finished I decided to go to bed to find a huge dip in mattress. Looking under bed there were slats loose and on floor. Impossible to sleep on. In the morning staff said apologies but weren't really interested.

The breakfast was fine and good value but mismatched cutlery. Could be a bit more professionally served. Cereal in ramekin dish, not a cereal bowl. Staff friendly.

Decor nice and clean in rooms. One toilet roll dirty in toilet. Shower needed a bit more cleaning. No hangers at all in wardrobe. Requested them but never came. Entrance in side door needs improving badly. Does not give a good impression. Dirty tea towels on floor etc.

Staff where pleasant

Been working in and around Doncaster for the last few weeks and have stayed in several hotels usually around the £50 per night price point some with rooms that are good enough to be 4star accommodation, some poor motel types so I'm not expecting the world for the price point but this place was poor, a hotel entrance that was just a staff corridor full of clutter, cleaning supplies, mops, trays leading to the kitchen and stairway upto the rooms, fire door at the top of the stairs does not close fully so wouldn't fit it's purpose, the room had miss matched furniture and a wafer thin mattress, no towel and no shower gel, bathroom and whole place is in need of TLC i only paid £45 per night so I guess for what i paid it was as expected but ive paid £50/55 elsewhere in Doncaster and had some good/ some bad, i hope this place gets some much needed investment.

Location, we attended an event in Sandall Park. It was a good price for a large room for 3 people

Whilst the room and bedding were clean the decor is a bit tired. The kettle was on the floor as lead didn't reach the top of the chest of drawers and due to uneven floors (old building and we were right at the top) it kept switching on and off. It did work though.

No wardobe or anywhere to hang your clothes? No chair no shower jel just hand wash Bed very uncomfortable and hard Room really cold as heating turned off until 8am next morning ???
