Perfect location to walk to the major attractions. Public transportation is close and easy to use. Lots of great restaurants in a 10min walking radius. Staff was extra friendly, rooms were beautiful and very comfortable. We would stay here again.

It was right in the heart of town. Only a few blocks from the opera house and St Stephen’s Cathedral.

This hotel is a 1930’s experience at best. There’s barely any space to move around in the room. There’s no air-conditioning. And the noise from the street goes on incessantly. I couldn’t get any sleep because I had to have the windows open because it is so stuffy especially when it’s really hot outside Because it’s located in the main thorough fare of Vienna there’s so much traffic late into the night of people and then in the early morning with vans delivering and garbage collection

Very charming old style hote. The building is from 1896 and was lovingly restored. Cozy room although miniscule. Very good breakfast. The staff is cheerful and very helpful. Very silent rooms. They really make you feel at home. Perfect location with all central attractions {Innerring} close and good shopping and eating options.

Pros: great location, comfortable bed, good breakfast.
Cons: shabby room and furniture, small bathroom, outdated 19" TV that did not work because no batteries in the remote (staff was not able to provide them on request). No kettle or coffee maker. Noisy trucks delivering goods to the restaurants early in the morning (a pedestrian-only street).

This hotel has a perfect location in the center of Vienna. It is a smaller hotel with nice charm and a helpful staff. A nice breakfast is included. The only shortcomings are the boiled eggs were always hard boiled and served hot. I would have preferred soft boiled eggs. The bathrooms are small so if you are overweight it could be difficult to navigate. If iou are travelling in the summer note that this hotel is not air conditioned. I believe they have fans. Not an issue otherwise. I would definitely stay there again (except maybe not in July or August). Great staff.

Butik hotel in the old apartament house very nice and clean. The palace-style beautiful furnitures, breakfast service, elevator and overall ambience makes you going back in the past times. Great service, very friendly and nice personel. Not comfortable as too soft bed, micro bathroom and the noise from the night club close by were the only „minuses” we experienced. But overall it was wonderfull stary and great choice!!!

Loved the Old Workd atmosphere and the staff. This is a very happy hotel and conveniently located close to Staatsoper Wien.
Only down side was the bathroom wasn’t big enough for most adults these days. I’m not large an I struggled to

Location! Location! This hotel is right in the middle of the central tourist area and within easy walking distance to so many places: Albertina platz, the museum quarter, Staats Opera and MusiekVerein plus the many, many restaurants. The staff was super friendly and welcoming and so helpful with hints and advice (even if your request is off the beaten tourist path). I will visit them again anytime! Oh and just incase you land in Vienna and your internet is suddenly not working: closest metro stop to hotel is Karlsplatz.

A proper old-fashioned European hotel in a great area with plenty of eating options and opportunities for shopping, while just a few minutes' walk to the Hof, the Spanish Riding School and the Oper.
Real door keys, writing paper and envelopes in the room, delicious breakfast (included in the room rate), friendly and helpful staff. Yes, my room was so tiny I was glad to have no traveling companion (where would I have put him and his suitcase?) and, yes, there's no air-conditioning: but there are proper double windows that you can open into the tiny courtyard the way your forebears did.
Full of character and a genuine Viennese experience, with a fantastic Art Nouveau facade thrown in for good measure.

Great location, good breakfast and very, very little street noise. Only complaint is if one wants an espresso drink, not only are they not good, they are outrageously overpriced. Suggest they just not offer them. Besides, the coffee included in the breakfast is excellent.
