Room was very clean and updated. Not very sound proof as we could clearly hear the neighbors next door when we were trying to sleep!!!!

Great spot for the night. Very clean. Comfortable bed. The washroom was a little small but the shower was spacious and had very hot water. Liked the contactless check in. They have a room where you can get extra blankets, sheets and towels along with ice, use a microwave and there is a coffee-latte machine - just use room key. Would stay there again.

Automatic check in machine, never saw any staff. Very compact room with bare essentials but clean and tidy

We were extremely pleased with our overnight stay at your lovely motel. It was very clean and very comfortable and convenient to town. Will definitely stay there again and recommend it to anyone travelling through the beautiful Riviere du Loop. Thank you so much. My dog was very comfortable too!!

Although it was confusing to find on Google Maps due to it listed under a different name, the hotel is very clean and very pleasant to stay in. We checked in after hours and the automated check-in was great. Coffee and other supplies are in a room adjacent to the automated check-in. Rooms are adequately sized but no hair dryer and coffee in the room.

A quick stop over on a long drive. Clean room and comfortable bed. Coffe machine out of some supplies in the morning. Friendly staff.

Very nice motel with convenient drive up to rooms. The automated check-in is very convenient and the rooms are clean and comfortable. The location is convenient from the highway if you are travelling and just staying for the night.

The only issue was the lighting which was very poor. There were no table lights and the ceiling lighting is poorly located. Not a deal breaker but certainly annoying.

It was interesting to check in and out with a computer. I have never done this before. We only stayed one night. No breakfast. No outdoor pool as listed on the posting.
Overall the stay was good, place was clean.
There was an envelope for a tip for the cleaner which I had not seen before either.

We stayed in a newer room. It was perfectly fine for a motel. Easy to get to, Starbucks across the street.

This is a very basic no frills facility. Mostly there is no staff for most of the time. It was ok but we would not stay there again.

Waze:Impossible to find our way to this hôtel , since it is still known as : le vieux fanal.
Too expensive: no bath tub, no hair dryer, no coffee.
Thé shower’s floor is very slippy (dangerous)

If you have to stay overnight in a ferry town, this is the place to be. Rooms are small but quiet and well appointed. Convenient to Starbucks across the street.

Very basic accommodations. No microwaves or coffee makers in the rooms, however they did have a room with a great coffee and extra towels and pillows. Check on was though a machine . Odd as nobody checks you on . You use the machine and it spits out keys !

Basic 'spartan' room with double bed, small bathroom and small TV. Not recommended for long stays

It was a comfortable place to stay as a stop off on our way back to Montreal from Fredericton. The room is small for the price that we paid but adequate. Liked the customer service at the front desk, bilingual worker, free coffee and extra towels. Parking should be on the other side of road for the unit we stayed in as the curb damages your car door when you open it whereas if the parking spots were on the other side, this would not occur.

I called before booking to confirm someone would be there to check me in. When I arrived around midnight the place was empty and I had a kiosk to sign in. It did not email me my recipe so after getting my key card, I had no idea which room was mine. I had to find a phone number to call for help from someone off sight.
When I checked out, my email came through instantly so I know my email was inputted correctly.

We stayed here last minute for an overnight with my parents in separate rooms.while their room was clean ours was unfortunately missed by the cleaners.we found hair all throughout the bed sheets and a strong smell of dog.we called the desk and they promptly came over to inspect and agreed with our findings then gave us another room.The second room was clean,very small(especially the bathroom)and we managed to get to sleep eventually.

The front desk staff was very welcoming and provided a smooth check-in process, the rooms was roomy and very clean with a great view of the sunset of the St. Lawrence River. Very close to the ferry terminal too.

Beautiful property very very clean rooms a comfortable bed very cozy my one complaint is that they need to upgrade their AC it was very loud and hard to sleep. Over all a great stay.

Nice little town. Standard room but comfortable. Travelling with dog so walkout rooms are great. Lawns are very nice with sitting areas.

Pro: Clean, just renovated , lots of hot water for showers, convenient for over night with dogs, close driving distance to restaurants and shops
Con: very noisy AC with fan that does not shut off so hard to get to sleep. Mattress cover is a fabric that reflects heat probably great in winter but not in the summer.

Too tiny. Very clean but nowhere to put anything. No shelving, almost too basic. Suitcase had to go in front of door when sleeping otherwise on the bed during the day. Sink was in bedroom and no towel rack or shelf for personal items.

The property was clean and easy to get to. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars was because there is no staffed reception ... check-in is through a machine. I may be old-fashioned, but I prefer checking in with an actual person, not a machine.
