Stayed for 2 nights just for a quick weekend visit. No cleaning concerns. Room we stayed in was basic room. No fancy upgrades. We did not need extravagant. For the price it was very cozy. Mattresses were not the most comfortable for people with back issues. Employees were super nice and helpful

Hotel canceled my reservation and booked my room. Said they tried to notify me. But i did not receive any correspondence at all. The hotel kept my money and i didnt get my room. Great service lol

The gentleman (or not so much) on duty when we checked in was frustrated and condescending in all that he said, long winded and unable to make eye contact. He seemed annoyed by our arrival and did not hide it well. The woman who was behind the counter for check out was kind and gracious. Overall it was a quaint and comfortable stay for a fraction of the competition pricing. I would say to future guests, don't let the staff deter you from this place if they happen to be an ogre to you. It's in a very convenient and quiet location.

The property has a nice historic look but hasnt been kept up very well. The room had a funky old smell to it but was visibly clean.The front desk attendant was condescending and rude as well as difficult to understand. The breakfasr was one of the scantiest I've seen for a continental breakfast. I would gladly have paid a few dollars more for respectful staff and decent food.

The breakfast options were, toast, little muffins, bananas, cold cereal and instant oatmeal with milk or Sunny D. We wish they had a better variety. The pool was nice. The rooms are a good size but very dated and needs fixing. The bed's were like sleeping on a spring set. The mattress pads were coming apart. The staff were nice and accommodating.

The staff is so kind, the rooms are very nice and I will most definitely chose this place again! The beds are comfy, rooms are clean, bathroom is super clean (including the plumbing). I have stayed in high end hotels that have had horrible plumbing; so, that's been a "look out" for me! The bathroom was great! If there were 10 stars ...I would give it!

I ended up extending my stay at this wonderful hidden gem in Williamsburg VA. My first impression was set right away the day I arrived and walked into the lobby. The lobby is charming, clean and the staff is lovely, kind and greets you right away! My room was just as wonderful! Clean, comfortable bed and very roomy. I cannot say enough about this hotel! Great quality and great price. Wonderful for a family and or a person traveling alone; I felt very safe! I will be back!

The property was a great stay for the price. All I needed was a quiet place to sleep and shower and this for the bill perfectly. If you are looking for a fancy place for your family to stay this is not it. If you want something that’s welcoming, quiet, clean and affordable, Rodeway is perfect! Very satisfied.

If you are looking for something fancy, this is not for you. Room is ok, I loved the bench out front of the room. Very quiet and safe. Very convenient to Merchants Square.
