Amazing hotel and location.
Was a family holiday the staff were amazing and friendly. We were upgraded to lake view rooms and the views were breathtaking.

Super clean and well maintained hotel. Rooms are pretty, spacious, and bathrooms are a little outdated, but clean, well maintained, and fit the charm of the old building. Right on the strip where you can exit the back of the hotel right onto the lake. Walking distance to everything.

Lovely property but older- a/c is loud and right next to bed and it ran all night but kept the room reasonably cool. Even though I was on the 1st floor I had a lovely lake view. Nicely located on the promenade- close to everything. Very pleasant stay overall

The location was perfect and the view was fantastic. The building was older and did not have AC, but the rooms were comfortable with the doors open and they had a portable fan in the room. The breakfast room has the perfect view of the lake.

What a beautiful location and the staff were very accommodating and friendly. Lovely area to stay in and walking distance to good shops, food and train station. I haven't got a bad word to say

You have to wait for clean glasses plates and cups in the morning even though we were less than 20 people. That is not ok

Beautiful Hotel. The lack of air conditioning was a bit troublesome given it was 30°C when we stayed. Wonderful breakfast area overlooking lake. Fantastic position although a bit noisy at night.

We returned for our 30th wedding anniversary with our baby granddaughter after spending our honeymoon at the same hotel. From staff to whole ambience we love this place.
No not if you want all singing all dancing contemporary facilities and surroundings but for location and everyone we encountered within the hotel from reception to housekeeping and restaurant staff you can’t beat it. Fabulous time and memories.

Very friendly and nice staff. We booked last minute and they made it work out well! Amazing breakfast! Lake Geneva is right there, with great options for dinner. We walked to Cathey Chillon and took the train back. Beautiful place. Great and clean room.

A grand hotel in old fashion style. A bit worn down here and there, and certainly the bathrooms could use renovation. But otherwise a very nice stay in and charming old-chique environment.

Hadn’t been back to Montreux in 32 years and wanted to stay at Hotel Eden au Lac again. Paid to upgrade to a lake view and it was spectacular!
