Hotel rooms are very dated. The plumbing in our “Premium” room’s shower was clogged (water would not drain), the carpets were worn and were in dire need of a deep cleaning, and the fireplace had electrical issues making it unable to stay lit. Overall, our experience was extremely underwhelming. Be warned.

Nice looking hotel and clean. The wasn’t very comfortable and the shower lacked water pressure. All staff was friendly and helpful.

This is the 1st time we stayed here & definitely won't be the last. We got to the hotel super early & was able to be checked in. Front desk was friendly and helpful. When we checked in, we checked in & out with Fady. Fady you're awesome & we hope the next time we come, you will be there. I loved the room, I wasn't expecting the big bathtub that we got, so that was a surprise. We were just missing some bathbombs, but weren't able to make it to Lush down the street. The breakfast was good and there were plenty of options. Even though we aren't wine drinkers, we did like that you offered free wine during certain hours. Everywhere we went in the hotel it was super clean. We also loved that you guys offer us to put our bikes we brought to put in a closet in the hotel as well to free up some space in our room. Thank you for making our stay awesome and relaxing!

Had to leave at 9pm and drive 3 hours home without an offer of another room or discount. Was scolded for front desk sending maintenance to 3 different room, despite my being very clear about my room number and name on reservation. Some of the worst customer service ever.

We arrived early and was able to check in. Staff were very pleasant and helpful. Great location, walking distance to many businesses. We have stayed at this hotel many times and always enjoy our stay.

The hotel was absolutely lovely! We loved the cozy fireplace in our room, and the $20 package with wine and a hot breakfast was a great deal. The only downside was the thin walls, which meant we could hear a late check-in upstairs in the middle of the night. I'd suggest requesting a room on the second floor to avoid similar disturbances.

This property was luxurious but never pretentious. Beds very comfortable. Staff was fun. Easy walk to Fisherman’s Wharf. Excellent breakfast. Will definitely stay here again.

We found this hotel by reading about recommended hotels on Reddit. Hotel Abrego did not disappoint. Front of house staff was very accommodating in finding us another room after my significant other wasn't thrilled about being on the detached building lower floor.
Later we came down for a drink at the bar, Kevin was our bartender, he had all sorts of good recommendations for us!
Next morning we had breakfast before heading out. I was surprised by the many options available. The croissant breakfast sandwich and the overnight oats were delicious!

Stayed here during Labor Day weekend and it was honestly so nice not far away from the Aquarium and Fishermans Wharf. The night time was so quiet, the breakfast included was honestly really delightful (the gentlemen) that was bringing the food was really friendly and gave good service, (tip them they have jar). Overall, the place was good I recommend it only thing was we got roomed where we had to take the stairs no elevator didn’t want to complain about the room since we checked in early but overall I give it a 8/10

My room had a lovely chaise and comfortable bed. Breakfast was generous and tasty, and it was quick to Cannery Row and the Aquarium as well as getting back on the road. I stayed overnight on a road trip along the coast, and would stay again if in the area, and recommend to friends. Great location, staff, and attention to detail.

Our room was a corner which faced 2 roads. Relatively quiet at night but DEFINITELY noisy traffic most of the time due to being near a busy intersection. Although clean there are probably better places to stay in Monterey.

Room was comfortable. Heated pool/spa was nice. Convenient parking. Great breakfast. Main con was at checking in. Front desk person wasn’t welcoming, mumbled, and had an attitude. Other staff and check out person were fine.
