We took Uber to the Saints Game at the dome and each time we went to or from anywhere, the drivers (white, black, from other countries), ALL told us we should go and stay somewhere else. The facility needs a cop on site at night. Great people working the hotel, loved them. Just need to clean up this area.

The breakfast was just coffee, waffles, cereal, and breads. It was just ok. The room was ok but several nights we were woke up by noises outside room.

The pool was closed for maintenance even though it looked perfectly fine property was not being kept up outside spots need alot of cleaning up

The hotel itself was well kept and the staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very simple but expected for the low cost. Location is within 30-40 min. of several tourist destinations and the Louis Armstrong Airport. Bit of warning: the camper lot next door does not maintain its sewage dumping hole well, so the air can be a bit rank in the afternoons. (This is in no way the hotels fault) Ultimatly its a great stay for anyone looking to be out seeing the sights and wanting a soft bed and clean room!

Rude guy at front desk. Guy told us we couldn’t stay at hotel cause we had a service dog was denied service every time from guy at front desk. No assistance from male personnel except housekeeping. Blood in hotel room on dresser and floor. Bullet holes in wall

The neighborhood looked rough and the security gate made me feel a bit safer. I had to drop my son off at the airport at 10 pm at night. I was nervous but made it back to the hotel safely by myself. The cleaning crew forgot to fill the liquid soap and the front desk did not provide any soap in the evening when asked.

Before I even knew how bad things would be based on the area and look of the hotel. I told the front desk I need to see the room. I wanted to make sure I gave this place a chance. DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL! If you don't mind staying in a hotel that make you feel like a person on a drug binge, due to the darkness, dirtiness and griminess hey book this spot. The room leaked with the chemical smell. The toilet didn't work. I immediately went downstairs and told them to cancel my reservation.

The hotel was in an area that didn’t appear to be the safest location. It was surrounded by a gate and you did need a room card to access the property. Once inside I did feel safe. The man at the front desk was friendly. Parking was in a covered area (very low roof) and I couldn’t open the back of my SUV with hitting the roof. The spaces were very tight. The room was outdated, the furniture was beat up and my blanket and sheets had cigarette burns. I wanted to check out after seeing the room. It was late so I stayed. I left lights on since I was afraid of roaches. The bed was actually comfortable and I did get a good night of sleep and did not encounter any roaches so I decided to stay. I asked a woman at the front desk to change my bedding/sheets due to the cigarette burns- this was never done. I also left a garbage can outside my door for housekeeping since rooms were not cleaned unless requested- the garbage can was still outside my door when I checked out. The walls are thin and I did hear conversations from the adjoining room. There was a small pool and breakfast of waffles, toast, bagels and cereal- these were the nicest parts of my stay. Day 3, I was feeling a little more comfortable so I only slept with only one light on- I woke up to see my first cockroach. Overall, I would not stay here again.

My stay at Wyndham Super 8 in New Orleans was very delightful. No issues or concerns. I booked ahead so the price was good for one night. That's all I needed in order to move my son into the dorm at SUNO.
