I booked this room for 3 nights but ended up staying only 2 nights. The room had a musky smell and signs of homemade repairs were evident throughout. Compartments attached to their sink were barely hanging on and fell off when I used the sink. Breakfast was disappointing and just the whole experience left me ready to leave. So I packed up and cut my trip off a day early. I did not ask for a refund for the last night. I just mentally checked off that I would never stay there again.

We didn't even stop our car and checked into a nearby Holiday Inn and subsequently requested a refund from Days Inn Black Bear which was refused by Hotels.com and this hotel. There is no mention of this being a homeless shelter on their website... they are just preying on out-of-town travellers like us knowing they can rip us off.

The room had a lot of holes where things used to be and they were not putted up or painted, The saunas do not work, The pools were very dirty at the bottom. The hot tub was very rusty and very many of the tile in the pools were broken.

Despite the place being fairly booked with many cars in the lot, only one staff member was there to handle both repairs and front desk duties. She had to lock the check-in office to go and change light bulbs, leaving at least three families waiting to be checked in upon her return. Despite being efficient, she was clearly overburdened. The room itself was dirty and in disrepair—the sink was clogged, there was a hole in the wall, the bedding felt unclean, the carpet was filthy, and the room had a cheap artificial scent likely masking unpleasant odors. Having stayed at Days Inn before, this location is well below standard.

Room was old air conditioning didn’t work and when the heater was turned on the smoke alarm went off noisy a lot of partying going on and a lot of loud people racing thru the parking lot all night absolutely horrible and would never come back didn’t feel safe lots of crack heads and weird people

The property overall was very dirty the pool area had a smell and is very inconvenient when traveling with small children as is very deep. In the room we found dried up French fries from the prior guest and the blankets where stained

Days in was a place to sleep. The dog smell was overwhelming. Air conditioner was extremely loud. The TV was not easy to use. The price was acceptable to have a place to sleep

The price was reasonable, but I was surprised that the property is more of a motel in a bad part of town (lots of suspicious looking people near the property just hanging about). Breakfast was a granola bar and juice or coffee. The room was clean.

There are many strange men wondering the property drinking or smoking. On our last night at 4:30am a woman began banging on the door of the room near us. She was yelling for a man to, "open up and wake up" over and over. I called the front desk and he addressed her, but he continued to let her knock and yell for him for another hour.

The lobby smelled when you first walk in. Hotel is very dated. You could see daylight through the door seam. The door shook with the wind. Loud neighbors. A little TLC definitely needed. Probably would not stay here again.

We requested a pet free room and were granted it... in the beginning. However, the room they gave us had someone else in it (they didn't know at the front desk who was in the room). We only found this out after we went back and forth from the office to the room thinking that the key was bad. When the manager tried their master key and it didn't work, only then did he realize someone else was in there. Then we were left with a pet room. We walked into the room and it was rank. We requested a refund, but the manager said he wasn't in charge of that and that he would have to request it of his manager.

The couple next door were being intimate, banging on the wall for several hours. Couldn’t go to sleep, bc they were making too much noise.

The bed in the disabled room was way too high for us to get on easily. The walkway by the door was uneven. The price changed from Expedia where I had booked, when I asked for a disabled room-by $60! Then they came down $30 for the 2 nights.

Customer service is good. They said they had breakfast, but they didn’t.
