Great facility and great service. However, our room faced Cobo Hall (now called something else) with a very big video screen that was on all night long and the blinds didn’t screen out the pulsating color changes. Also one side of the room was very dark

Cool property and great restaurant and staff. However, the front desk and valet staff were not friendly, considerate or welcoming. For example, the alarm went off at 3 am from the previous guest and I couldn’t get back to sleep. I checked out later that morning and mentioned it to the front desk lady so that housekeeping could fix it as it isn’t a regular alarm clock. She didn’t say anything. Didn’t apologize for the inconvenience or anything. When we arrived as well the front desk staff wasn’t welcoming. Same with valet. These are the first and last people guests interact with so they require better training to best represent the brand and provide a better customer experience.

I absolutely love this hotel. I love everything from the comfort of the bed, to the smell of the shampoo, to its perfect location in Detroit where everything is walkable.

The service here is off the charts! Requested a coffee maker in the room and it was there, with coffee, when I checked in. Every question I texted was promptly answered. Every staff member I encountered was friendly and helpful. The bar is great, craft cocktails in a relaxed vibe. Food in the restaurant was on par for 4 star spots. I travel roughly 25 weeks per year and this is the best boutique hotel I’ve stayed in during 2024. I’ll be back.

We stayed here two nights while in Detroit for a Tiger's baseball game. The gentleman who checked us in was very nice and helpful, providing a list of area food recommendations. Accommodations were exceptional and the rooms were extremely clean. The decor was lovely throughout the hotel and the bar/restaurant was beautiful. We only had cocktails at the Apparatus Room; the staff were wonderful as were our drinks. Valet parking was easy ($45/night) and we mainly walked or took a Lyft to get around. The hotel is within walking distance of Comerica Park, the waterfront, many restaurants and shopping. The hotel gym was nice and had plenty of space, including two Peloton's. We would absolutely recommend this hotel and will be back the next time we stay in Detroit.

Love this amazing hotel for it's history, beauty and staff. The location is great as well as we wanted to access the River walk. The ONLY thing that was less than great was the garbage trucks in the alley at 6 am!

I love the Aparium hotels. This is my second (I stayed at the Surety Hotel in Des Moines two weeks ago). The staff are super friendly and helpful. The restaurant is great. There is a well equipped gym. I spent a day working in the lobby. The rooms are well furnished and comfortable. Five stars.
