never cleaned room after 3 nights

A good stopover or couple-nights’ stay: very neat and clean, with friendly, efficient service. Only a desk chair for sitting, so not a room for extended lounging. Only gripe: ran out of hot water far sooner than one might expect. Still, a good value and would stay there again.

I am thankful of the convenience staying in this hotel.

Very nice, pleasant stay. Very quiet even though a main street is out in front. They have done some renovations on the property, area outside is very clean, building and rooms painted nicely. Ample parking. Room was super clean and fresh looking. Comfy bed. Microwave and mini fridge in room. No coffee maker in room, but they have a machine available 24/7 in the office close by with all you want coffee, decaf, hot chocolate, latte, vanilla, hot water for tea, etc; available free tea bags for those that prefer tea. Office is also very clean, reception personnel and the ladies who clean the rooms are friendly and helpful. Mall/shopping area right across the street. Pretty easy to get to Cannery Row, Aquarium, Fisherman's Wharf, Path of History, Presidio Chapel, and others. Yes, we would go back and stay at this hotel !

Nice hotel. Could use some upgrades. If you’re going to remodel do it right or don’t do it at all. Door hinges is one thing. Shower flower slope not done properly, water was coming out. Recessed lights on top of beds is a no go, should’ve put some wall sconces instead. Little things go a long way. Otherwise it was a nice stay for the fam, thank you.

Did not realize had no closet, just a rod with no hangers.

This is an adorable renovated motel conveniently located near downtown Monterey and it was a great hub from which to visit Carmel-by-the-Sea and to see all the sights on the peninsula. Highly recommend this charming stay. This place gets extra credit for offering an easy no fuss check-in and check-out process. I’ll definitely stay again if I’m in the area.

Nice clean

Very clean room, provided all the towels, soap, etc. I needed. Quick drive from pretty much anywhere you want to go in Monterey. I checked in late at night and they were still very friendly. Would come again.

Nothing special. Floors were dirty, took 15/20 minutes for hot water, no where to hang up or put your clothes, nothing for your suitcase either….they go on the floor. For 1 night good, not for extra

This was a minimalist hotel, functional and okay, without any basics (like coffee) in the room. It's value was less than $100/night; however, I was charged $400+/night because of a nearby auto show.
