From the minute we stepped into this beautiful hotel, we felt so welcomed by the Front Desk Staff! They were so friendly and helpful and made our stay so enjoyable! We would definitely book again if we visit Florence!

Excellent staff Vety helpful with meal recommendations and reservations. Nice cocktail time and excellent breakfast buffet. Updated rooms. Modern and clean. A keeper for return visits. Location within walking distance of major museums.

We had a wonderful stay at the Metropole. The staff were all so friendly and the buffet breakfast was fantastic. Our rooms were spacious and clean. We felt that Santa Margherita was a quaint town that doesn’t have the craziness like the towns of Cinque Terra. We ate at 3 or 4 different restaurants in town and all were very good. We would recommend Hotel Metropole and the town to our friends and family members.

They even recognized our 2nd stay and we had a chilled bottle of sparkling wine waiting for us in our room. The breakfast is delicious with a wide assortment of food and, again, very friendly staff! We walked to and from the train station with some difficulty because of our luggage, but a very easy walk to il Duomo, the Uffizi Gallery, and the Ponte Vecchio. A little further, but well worth the hike, is the Piazzelle Michaelangelo with the most amazing view of Florence!!! Such a beautiful city and a wonderful hotel! I would definitely recommend a balcony room for the magnificent view over the rooftops to the hills of Tuscany.

The only weird thing about our stay was the shower was not in the bathroom so there was absolutely no privacy. It was very strange

Really enjoyable stay, clean, quiet and easy walking distance to all the famous places of interest, very helpful staff always smiling and really great with dealing with a small medical issue we had, would definitely recommend if looking to stay in Florence

The garden isnt huge but still nice to have the space for breakfast or drink. The walk to the municipal parking is quite a distance but nice they allowed us to drop off luggage first. Room wasnt huge but what you expect for a city centre location. Very efficient air con and very clean and tidy. Thing we found out later in the trip, short walk to the large food market which has great food options.

I arrived early to check in, but the room wasn’t ready until well after their 2 o’clock deadline. To make matters worse, the room they assigned me had a terrible view, with the window facing directly at a concrete wall.

Lovely hotel in an excellent central location. Staff were friendly and rooms were clean and well equipped. We had breakfast each morning in the hotel and there was a good range of food and drinks.

Had to close the window with curtain during 3 day period. No view, it was hard to stay with the closed environment. Asked a room change but not granted. The guests should have known no view prior to booking becuase there are people who can't stand a room without view. Breakfast was good and a lady there was so friendly and professional.

Amazing staff and wonderful hotel. Everything was very comfortable and clean. The breakfast is wonderful as well.

Friendly staff supper helpful had many recommendations for the area whether dining or attractions. Hotel and room clean toiletries stocked. Breakfast fresh. I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a place to stay in Florence Italy
