Great hotel. They offer family rooms with 3 queen beds. Heated pool. Always clean. Friendly service. Central location. Close to a real nice shopping Center ( Del Monte ) upscale. Many great restaurants in area. Not far from Cannery Row , the Warf. Old Town Monterey. I recommend this place.

The worst! Hotel pool is cold and claims to be heated it also looked beyond disgusting thick and murky with chemicals! Hot tub looked the same and bottom was coming apart you could feel it under your feet. Can see the lights through the shutters. Disgusting old yellow phone came flying off the wall when I tried using it. Tried calling the lobby so many times and no one ever answered. I could hear running and jumping from whoever was above me the entire morning since 6am. Hotel bathroom fan was soo loud and ac was so squeaky! The balcony had a disgusting view of nothing but weeds and a knocked over chair. Looks nothing like the pictures online. Outdated!

Overall, the hotel is pretty run down. We rented two rooms for 4 days- both had this terrible musty/mold smell that “came home with us”- our luggage and everything we owned smelled and took two washes.. the bed was averagely okay- clean though, which is what I care about. Room is really run down- furniture is worn and chipping, sink area was okay but rust on items, shower was not great- very low pressure but the tile grout was in desperate need of a good scrub..staff was very nice- the smell though in the office is the smell in the rooms. The pictures look nicer than it is. Overall, it wasn’t a bad stay. It was quiet and is fairly walkable- though, the walk back is slightly uphill and can be tiring. This did in a pinch on a super expensive jazz festival weekend- if you’re there to sleep then this is a great place for that.

Nice place and convenient walking to downtown. Shower water pressure wasn’t great but it did the trick. Simple accommodations and good for a quick trip.

From start to finish this whole stay was amazing great communication, great amenities, great location and even kinder employees. I wish all hotels took a note from this place on how to run a hotel. Truly an amazing place to stay for a few days. Also the bed was really comfy!

cheap no-frills inn, clean and well-kept, has all the essentials (shampoo, conditioner, hair dryer, iron, comfy and clean bed, deadbolt for door). would book again for another short trip to Monterey!

We love this motel. It is not fancy but has everything a traveler would need. It is extremely clean. Our king bedroom and bed were very comfortable. We had a fridge, microwave and Keurig coffee maker. The shower, water and bathroom were nice. It was quiet at night. There was plenty of drawer and hanging space for clothes. The motel has an indoor pool and hot tub and good parking. The staff are friendly and helpful. The motel is in walking distance of the Del Monte shopping center and Alvarado Street with its many restaurants. We even walked down to the Old Fisherman's Wharf which was about a mile away. This motel was a very good value for what we paid.

It was an amazing stay for our first vacation together! One of the most memorable trips I’ve had all year! The only thing we wish was the that the jacuzzi and pool would stay open longer than 9pm. We will definitely be back!

Although this property may look underwhelming, it's far from it. In fact was one of the best stays we've had in a long while. The hotel was very close to the best parts of Monterey. Parking was easy which was great after arriving late. The bed was comfortable and facilities were great. I would definitely recommend this property if you're planning on visiting Monterey.

Stafff helpful in holding our bags before check in; property well maintained, parking available, smooth check in, rooms comfortable and clean; no noise. All added to enjoyment of our visit in Monterey and neighboring Carmel.

Clean room friendly staff super simple checkin. We stayed in an accessible unit which was very nice for my mom. On a non foggy day if you step outside you can see the sunrise in the trees across the street. (Only quirk was the air conditioner. Needed to put it at 65 in order for it to get cool initially after that you can turn it up.) Close walk to the wharf so don't need to deal with traffic and parking (walk back is uphill but not too bad). A shopping center is close by (within walking distance, again uphill but not steep) with whole foods and other options for dining or just walking around.

We chose this hotel because of the indoor pool. We did not go in it because it looked very dirty. The website listed a room safe. There was no room safe. I asked the front desk and was told none of the rooms have a room safe. Very disappointed. We will not be returning to this hotel.

I loved how clean it was. Even the bathroom was very neat and had an open shower. I just had a problem with sleeping due to the smoke alarm going off every 10 min. I could not sleep.

Stayed there two nights, very noisy, room was very dated. Not worth the money paid for the room. It was ok.
