We chose this hotel as we stayed here in 2023 and had a decent experience. We enjoyed the majority of our stay this year, 2024 as well but we unfortunately will not book with this hotel again. The day before leaving we scheduled a private water taxi through the hotel as we needed to be at the airport by 4:00am. The front desk confirmed with us twice that the taxi was booked for 3:30am the next day. We went to the lobby at 3:15am and asked the front desk if our taxi would be on time. He spent 20min “looking through the schedule” then told us the hotel forgot to book the taxi. As public transportation was not running at this time it became a huge problem. The gentleman at the front desk was not able to provide us with contact information or resources for public transportation. We had to repeatedly beg for his help as a fiddled around with odd tasks seemingly attempting to ignore the issue. Finally after waiting an hour he contacted a taxi for us. However, it was much too late to make our flight. We then lost all of our connecting flights as well which caused us to pay an additional $1,800 to book new flights which were for a much later time. We asked for the hotel manager to contact us, nearly a week later now we still have not heard from the hotel manager. As I stated, we are extremely disappointed as up until this incident we enjoyed our stay at the hotel.

Amazing hotel! Great location and excellent customer service. Most the main attractions within walking distance. This is my second time here of many to come! Highly recommend!!!

Excellent, a very good welcome, spotlessly clean, the breakfast was very good with plenty of choice and all the staff were very polite. Would stay there again.

The hotel was decent overall. The room was small and a bit dark, but it was comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the breakfast spread was nice. The location was fantastic, and we received a 10% coupon for dinner at the nearby da Raffaele restaurant, which was outstanding. We were pleased with our stay.

Would not stay here again. The doors slam to at night this is the noisiest hotel on the planet. The electrics cut out in our room 3 times….electrics are so poor you can’t even plug the provided kettle in. And definitely do not dare to brew the kettle at the same time as drying your hair! Furthermore, we asked the hotel to arrange us a taxi to the train station, they told us 45 euros and that we could pay card. We got the water taxi and were charged 80 euros. An absolute disgrace.

Conveniently located hotel in the heart of Venice. It is located on the orange line Aliguna stop so you can hop right on public transportation from the airport. It’s about 10 minutes walk to all of the attractions give or take with foot traffic. Very clean and welcoming. The staff was helpful as we needed to contact a private taxi for our return trip to the airport. One thing to note is the elevator can only provide service to floors one and two so you are staying on a higher floor, there is some walking up and down steps involved. This didn’t bother us as it’s an older building(it’s Venice!). They also have a breakfast option that we didn’t take advantage of but our traveling companions said it was good.

I ended up paying 110 euros ( 40 airport taxi and 70 taxi boat). Staff did help with return to airport which was a 16 euro boat ride. Wish I had known that upon initial arrival.

We had two rooms, only stayed one night…the beds were comfortable, the canal view was a nice addition, the bathroom was a good size. The room was laid out nice and very compact. We enjoyed our stay.

Great location and very beautiful. Some rooms have a phone booth-size shower. No room to use it properly. Only a rain shower head, not good for contact lens wearers or those not shampooing. Breakfast is convenient and not expensive, but very limited. Fully self service.

Everything in Venice is expensive so we weren’t expecting much but the level of noise that we experienced overnight and during the early morning hours was unbearable. Constant banging and knocking that even earplugs could not drown out beginning at 7 AM. Management did not care. Would not stay here again.

What a delightful, charming hotel from every perspective. Had an amazing stay and loved the staff, the room, the hotel decor and you could not wish for a better location. Hope to return one day when the roof terrace is repaired - it did not spoil our stay at all but it would have been the icing on the cake to enjoy this facility. Superb experience during our 6 day stay. Grazie Mille tuttie. Jane and Anna xx

Beautiful hotel, central to all the tourist attractions. Wonderful and friendly staff, close to the alilaguna water transport and Gandola rides (3-5 mins walk).

It did not have a balcony, but it had a beautiful window that opened to a small canal from which you could hear and see the gondola rides that had serenades. Breakfast is splendid and fresh.

I can’t believe this hotel is only 3 Star. Its decor is authentically reflective of the building, representing the history attached to the building. The rooms are clean and well decorated. The breakfast choice is fresh with a good selection. Its only 40 yds from the Taxi drop off point from the Airport on the Orange route.
