Great location. Very good rate. Had to return to reception to ask for the safe key (since I couldn't work out how to use it) and get a map of the city. Would have been nice to have been given both at check in. Room extremely hot, and air con wasn't available, and again I was not told at check in. To cool the room, had to leave a window open. Frig not working. It was probably operator trouble, but they knew it was coming so why wasn't it checked and running on my arrival. These are all minor complaints, but they prevent me from giving the hotel a higher rating and made my stay less enjoyable. It would have cost them nothing to provide a better service.

Unique location as built over ancient ruins which are now part of the hotel. Rooms spacious with slightly dated bathroom. Breakfast was below average. Cooked items not particularly tasty. Scrambled eggs to salty & only warm. Only fresh fruit were melons. No cold milk for cereals.

This is a 1 star hotel. The condition of the rooms are very poor. Door in the bathroom rotted from shower water spilling over. Tub had some melted plastic on the edge. Toilet had black specks. Towels are old and thin. Minibar had mould. Bed had a thin sheet and a dirty cover. Handed a key at checkin.

The room was very nice…clean and comfortable. Excellent location! The hotel staff were pleasant but the restaurant staff well…not so much. We decided to have our drinks and eat off site which worked out really well for us. Overall, we would stay here again as the hotel was so convenient to the historic area.

Very nice and charming ambiance, unfortunately we couldn't enjoy so much under the covid19 conditions however the staff offer us a coffee before we go

The location was good .a 10 min walk to the Cathedral . The staff were helpful. However we were wokem by hammering and banging as there was a leak and no hot water . After a few hours it was back on .

Ejoyed our stay. Only problem was I am having trouble retrieving my driver's license that I left at check-in. San Polo confirmed that they had my driver's license and to send them an email instructing them to send the driver's license, which I did, but no results. Hotels.com has not produced any positive results either. My second attempt with Hotels.com informed me that my first request was not even entered in there notes.

This was a return stay. The location is perfect for exploring Salamanca and feels very safe. The double room was rather small but this was compensated by a wonderful view across to the cathedral.

Located in a smart area of Salamanca, close to the Cathedral and ancient museum quarter. New build on archeological site. Room adequate size, good linen one or two bits of decorative maintence required. Booked a return visit.

The location is the best thing this hotel has. It's kind of cold and feels old (although it has less than 10 years). The beds weren't the most comfortable and the whole hotel smelled like if they used a dirty mop (my bedroom included) It's a good value for money but don't expect much besides a prime location.

Good location, close to historic area (5-10 minute walk), but easy to get to with our car. Room was clean and comfortable, but our room had quite a bit of street noise. We wanted to open our window for fresh air but could not because of the noise. Overall very satisfied with this nice hotel, would stay there again.
