The hotel is dated, built in1921 and is an historical landmark. It’s a nostalgic place that is interesting, however, it’s very dated. The bathrooms are small and are like stepping into the 1950s The rooms are very dated as well. The best part of my experience was the breakfast and the staff. They were both outstanding

The downtown location is convenient for dining, shopping and other needs. Suites are spacious and affordable.

Great stay overall.

Overall the hotel was pretty nice. I accidentally booked an accessible room. The wallpaper was peeling off the one wall and the ceiling tiles in the bathroom were coming loose. The room was clean. The room needs some attention with fresh wallpaper and ceiling tiles. The hot breakfast was delicious!!

Everything was totally fine except the bed. Unfortunately it was soft and lumpy with a big dip in the middle, definitely needs replacing.

Has a creepy feel, and made me feel like i was walking into the shining. It was a great hotel! The staff were friendly and answered questions. Beds were comfy. We searched the haunted areas and also looked around at all the placea famous people stayed at. What a great stay

Wonderful hotel located in the center of Williamsport. This older hotel has aged gracefully and displays a refinement rarely found in newer hotels.

We enjoyed our stay at the Genetti Hotel. The history of the hotel is documented by the many photos of notable guests. Staying in the downtown area made it easy to visit local shops, restaurants, and taverns. We stayed Aug.18-22 to see the Little League World Series and the hotel was ready for visiting guests with the lobby decorated with balloons and signs. Our room was quaint with the historical decor of the hotel’s history. The bed was comfortable. The view was beautiful! The staff and restaurants were excellent! The free breakfast buffet selections were delicious and varied each day. Of course, we tipped the wait staff. The bar in the evening was a great place to wind down after a day full of baseball. Although we had planned to use the pool, we didn’t get a chance to use it. It looked clean and inviting! Parking is truly free! What a luxury! The hallways were showing wear; paint chipped, in need of a thorough cleaning. We were surprised not having any maid service for the days we were there. No one even emptied the trash or vacuumed. That was disappointing. We didn’t think we’d have to ask.

We were looking foward to our stay at the Genetti Hotel. It has a rich history with photos of famous guests who have stayed at the hotel. The lobby was welcoming and prepared for guests attending the Little League World Series with signs, balloons, information and friendly desk staff. We stayed Sunday-Thursday. Unfortunately, the room was a disappointment. It was very small for a king suite. There was only one small window and the television was on a chest blocking the window. Housekeeping did not visit to empty trash or to see if we needed towels or sheets even after the third day. There was an adjoining room, but the person next door talked so loud each night until midnight and started again at 4:00AM. No one vacuumed the room or the hallway in front of the elevator. And, the mattress was covered in plastic. It was very disappointing.

I love the “old” feel the of the Genetti, while providing all the needs of the day. Good restaurants close by, The Stonehouse Wood Fired Pizza, Bullfrog Brewery and I’m sure others. There is also an AMC theater right next doors too.
