What a gem! This property is jaw dropping gorgeous from the beautifully appointed house and guest rooms to the million dollar views. It completely exceeded our expectations & is easily worth double what we paid. Delicious breakfasts where we met interesting friendly people, borrowed the kayaks & paddleboard & swam & paddled in the bay right in front of the house. We had vacationed in La Paz before & loved it, but stayed in hotels where we didn't get the relaxing stay we were looking for. This B & B was perfect & we'll return with our adult kids or friends next time.

What an amazing 15**** STAR retreat, My husband and I were very impressed with the large room, authentic decor, super comfortable beds, mini fridge, beach towels, house coats, books, games, paddle boards, kayaks....I could go on and on... Oh Yes, AND ALL on the BEACH.. Very clean bathroom, bedroom.and entire Casa. The dinning area is where the best breakfasts are cooked by the host/owner. Every single thing was "on point". The Decor in the dinning area is Magnificent. There is an abundance of interesting items that will keep your jaw dropped in amazement.The vibe is so tranquile. Surround that with the most helpful lovely owner and assistant. We were so happy and grateful.. i can't wait to return.

Leeanne has a way of making the experience of staying with her at Kootenay magical. She arranged lovely breakfasts, where all the guests would eat, chat and laugh together. She provided kayaks that we paddled off to the Malecon. I felt very pampered. Beautiful waterfront spot with a vast view across the bay.

Casa Kootenay is a delightful place. The hostess makes you feel right at home. The breakfasts are delicious and authentically Mexican. The rooms are clean and the beds soft and comfy. It has beach access, great views and is in walking distance to the Malecon restaurant and shopping district. There's a private courtyard with a pool and an outdoor kitchen for guest use. Just a beautiful, comfortable place to stay.

We were looking for a location that would be comfortable for a long visit and Casa Kootenay was perfect! The rooms are spacious. The area right outside the room is large and comfortable. The rooftop deck is incredible with breathtaking views! The breakfasts are delicious. Leeanne is friendly, knowledgable, and helpful. It's easy to bike, uber or walk to the Malecon. We couldn't have asked for a better b&b! You will love it!

One of the best experiences I have had at a BnB! LeeLee was just awesome and went well beyond expectations to ensure our stay was awesome. My wife and I can't wait to return.

We really enjoyed our stay at Casa Kootenay. Leeanne and her family were very welcoming and made us feel like home. Our room was very clean, spacious, and comfortable. The BnB is about a 7 minute drive from El Malecon in a very safe and quiet neighborhood. I will be returning on my next vacation to La Paz because we enjoyed our stay at Casa Kootenay very much. Thank your for everything Leeanne and family.

Great location close to town but quiet end. Lovely breakfasts and on the water. Leanne is welcoming. Like staying at a friend’s house. Hot tub and pool. Fantastic top deck for relaxing and sunrise, sunset views.

I had a good week in La Paz! Leeanne provided great information about where stores were, things to see & do, where to walk and help in getting transportation. She facilitated a date change in a Viator day trip that was cancelled the day I had booked it speaking by Spanish with the local provider. I particularly enjoyed kayaking from the B & B two mornings- one morning kayaking through the mangroves and taking photos of birds. The beach in front is good for walking and the dinner menu at the nearby la Posada hotel is very good. I took the beach bus from the terminal at the Malecon to beautiful Balandra Beach which was another highlight. Breakfast was at 8:30 each day in a friendly family setting providing an opportunity to socialize with other guests and to enjoy a delicious Mexican entree made by the cook.

We were made to feel at home as soon as we arrived. The property is beautiful and the rooftop deck was a great place to sit with a glass of wine and watch sunset. We had wonderful Mexican breakfasts prepared by Alma. An added benefit are the bikes available for use and the close proximity to the bike path which takes you down to the Malecon. Overall it was a great stay!

We loved everything about Casa Kootenay. Location was right on the beach but also in a quiet area of the city. The facility was private, welcoming, incredibly well taken care of and we felt welcome and at home. The family style breakfasts with the hosts LeeAnne and Herman were something to look forward to each day, and it was a great opportunity to meet the other guests, talk about the area and plans for the day. LeeAnne was so helpful in recommending places to eat, setting up excursions, etc. The rooms where huge with all the amentites you need, small fridge, coffee maker, beach towels, etc.
