Beautiful hotel even though it was just a quick stay. I was upgraded to a suite on the 42nd floor. Wow! What a view! The price was very fair. I would definitely book this hotel again. Location is very convenient to many things including a short 10 minute walk to get the shuttle for a Porter flight (who I also love flying with)

The hotel was clean, and the inside was pretty. We arrived at 3 for our scheduled checkin, and they said they had to "see if a room was available" (it was). We were in the area for a show, so we checked in and then weren't back to the room until later that night. The room had a pull out queen bed that two of our party used. It was horrible, lumpy, thin, small, SQUEAKY, with two thin sheets on it. Neither of the people who used it were able to sleep. They ended up putting couch cushions on the ground in an attempt to get any rest. During our dinner at the restaurant in the lobby, there was a small gnat in one of our waters. We politely alerted the server and just asked for a new water, but it's worth mentioning. We received an email asking for feedback from the hotel, and wrote what we did here. They ended up calling us and telling us that they had had multiple complaints about the pull out bed already. (Why are you still selling the rooms with them then? And charging us an extra $200 on our room rate to use it?). They wouldn't comp us anything, not on the room, or the dinner. They just apologized and said we could visit again and they'd offer us a discount on a future stay. We won't be back and we won't recommend it to friends or family.

Room was beautiful. Amenities were great. Had a king bed. Found pillows not the greatest, my neck hurt in the morning. You could hear neighbours washing their dishes with dishwasher or laundry but otherwise nice place.

Our upgraded room was lovely. Sel cited this because it was walkable to the concert we attended.

Not pleased. Very noisy, sounds from the pipes and the sraff and clients sreamed. We did not sleep.

Beautiful hotel in an excellent location. Staff were amazing to deal with and always helpful. Room service was on point and never missed a day on our 7 night stay. Hotel itself was gorgeous and did an amazing job of keeping the historic touches of the building while presenting a modern, well kept facility. Our particular room had both an in room dish washer as well as in room laundry. Which was very convenient for a lo ger stay.

The hotel would have been ok with me, even though I found the color schemes of the room dingy and miserable, with dim lighting like a funeral hme. However, I just hated sleeping there, because it was too warm to sleep without the air on. I don't know if the windows opend or not, I didn't try because the srett below was too busy, even at night, but the air conditionner blew stinky old unclean filter air out, that smelled like mold and mildew, and allergens gallore. the carpet stunk of oldness too. It was dreadfull. After a terribe night I woke up and escaped as quickly as possible!!!

“Lovely grand old hotel with a completely up to date look. Clean and cozy and the staff is outstanding. They even overlooked the fact that I called 5 times to get walking directions because my GPS was acting funky. Great stay.
