You do not get access to the pool. They call it a spa and then make you pay $40 to use it. They say nothing about that on their website and even on the Expedia it shows the sauna as part of the amenities. It’s not. The hotel smells terribly of mold. And half the staff very much does not want to be there. Walls are paper thin so it’s very loud.

Overall a nice place to stay. Good location that felt safe and was walkable to many places. Hotel staff were friendly. Architecture and design of hotel/room were very nice. The ac was controllable and I was able to keep the room very cold. The only downside for us was having an atrium side room - you don’t have a window to outside which is a bummer. The window looks out into the hallway, so you don’t get natural light during the day and you have to deal with bright interior/hallway lights at night time, making it hard to sleep. Other than that we really enjoyed our stay. We would stay here again but would definitely get an exterior room.

Our room was amazing...lofted. restroom was modern and private. Beds were very comfortable. Hotel felt very secure and safe. Hotel staff was pleasant and professional. We will definitely stay here again!

Great location to restaurants and US Bank stadium

Nice place. Good restaurant. Weird check in. (I work in nyc’s largest hotel for 27 years). Wife and I driving across the country. I pulled up. Asked about parking in the lot attached. Told price. But had to back out, as price didn’t match what was told (perhaps a validation issue/discount). Parked in street at meters (saved $$) Anyway, not a huge deal (we aren’t that needy, and we generally don’t need help with bags (none offered). And we are urban drivers. My elderly parents would have had a bad time. But they probably would have inspired more assistance due to their age. Nice place. Maybe offer more clear help to drivers after a long day on the road. My 2 cents.

We loved the Canopy! We had a lofted two queen room which was amazing. It was quiet and the beds were very comfortable. We chose to pay to park in the attached underground parking which I highly recommend. It was convenient and safe. Staff was friendly and accommodating. US Bank Stadium is across the street and the Guthrie is a couple blocks away. I would definitely stay here again.

My feed back would be that no one at the front desk took or maybe gas the ability/ authority to handle customer requests or complaints. Twice, because I used Expedia to book the room was I told that the issues I had could not be resolved because I booked through a third party. Unfortunately I see this more and more. It’s really sad to witness this. I feel that as a customer I’m being asked to do everything from booking in etc. And that the concierge or front of the house staff can just really provide no service at all. This is what fast tech seems to be concluding, that it’s easier to pound the numbers and forget about service.

The ‘light breakfast’ bag you can get was basically hospital food and not worth it at all. If I were to stay again I’d just choose to opt out of the breakfast and the parking and it would be great.

Great hotel!

Super clean and quiet. Convenient to US Bank Stadium and restaurants downtown. The only negative was the very slow breakfast service in the lobby restaurant, Umbra. We had to get up a couple times from the table to flag down our server to order and to ask for our check at the end of our meal.
