This place was a gem. So clean and convenient. The staff was awesome. Our only beef was not with the motel but other guests being rude, taking over common areas with their music, cigars and dogs.

The state was pretty good.The hotel wasn't the top of the line, but it was worth the price and the comfort was not that bad8th

Big room

Wasnt for us. Room was really dated and we didnt like the general feel of the place. The dock was the nicest part. The noise for the adjoining rooms was too much and we found alternative accommodation and left before staying the night

Reading all the bad ratings and reviews about this accomodation we were prepared for the worst. But what we expected was a total and pleasant surprise. Room was spacious, clean, had a microwave, lamp with USB charger, pool is big. Complimentary coffee in the morning above the coffee in the room. The best thing was the silent air conditioning unit in the room, not those bulky loud as an airboat american AC. So those bad ratings about that you can hear the noise from the road and the cockcrow that is because there was silence in the room. Traffic noise was not disturbing at all and could only hear it during the night if you are up, not tired and listening, but it is not going to wake you up, neither the cockcrow. Only negative was that the wifi in the west wing was very weak and spotty.

The property was nice, with individual numbered parking for my room. But the tv was too small to enjoy.

Dock was falling apart. Price for damaged boat slips were almost as much as the room charges. Parking was a nightmare

We liked the fact that the property has its own boat ramp and available docks for rent. What we didnt like, although staff tries hard to be receptive to guests, the property is in desperate need of repairs. Our air conditioner broke down completely, they had to buy a portable unit for our living room, and install another they had in our bedroom barely kept up and noisy but at least we had some relief. The docks are falling completely apart, one was totally unusable, our tv didnt work, never came on. Alot of chickens and roosters loose running around, and wake you up. Walls in bathrooms are very thin, you can hear "everything" in neighboring room! All kinds of silly rules, yet when you bring these things up, that are wrong with the place, seems like rules dont apply to them, just you! ALL ice machines were broken, no ice at all, on site...again not trying to say staff didnt try, they tried their best, but the ownership is to blame, everything is in need of serious repair.

We live the old school motel feel, makes you feel like Old Florida. The use of the kayaks is awesome! We would like to see the room numbers painted closer to the street instead of the curb as parking in your “designated” spot is difficult. We have always been able to get late checkout so that is helpful as well. We come here every year during mini lobster season or a trip to the keys! So many managers too!!!

Not good, no hot water or good water pressure. Bed linen had stains. People came and banged on our door at 11:15 pm sat night saying we toke thier parking spot! We told them that someone was in ours there was no where to park. We will not be going back….
