My mother and grandmother stayed here for the weekend and both said all staff were so amazing, helpful, and friendly with them. My granny is 90 and they couldn’t do more for her. We will 100% be using Albany House again and recommending to anyone who asks about staying in Dublin City centre.

This was our final stop on our Ireland vacation. The room was fantastic! I love the old historical building, the location and the staff were great! The only thing that was not so good was across the street there was a club. People were outside smoking what smelled like something other than marijuana. The music was loud and woke us up during the night. Thank goodness we were on the 2nd floor. There are not any elevators which gave us a good workout lugging our bags up the stairs but it wasn't terrible.
Breakfast is a continental breakfast not a full breakfast.
Dublin is a very walkable city so this location was perfect for the points of interest we were visiting. I would highly recommend this hotel!!

Great older property. No lifts so we had to carry luggage up to third floor. Ask for rooms on back of hotel-nightclubs are across the street with many people and club music bumping until 3am.

Clean, basic but a bit worn-out room. Quite warm during summer (no AC) and across the street was a couple of loud bars so light sleepers may have issue with keeping the window open.
Staff was helpful and friendly, breakfast was good and all in all a really nice stay!

Beautiful guest house. Great breakfast. Partying and club across street, so if you’re there on a weekend, bring earplugs or ask for rear room not facing street. Noise with earplugs was very manageable. 10-15 minute walk to key sites including Trinity College and museums. We’d go back. Staff was lovely.

Albany House is on a nice street in Dublin not far from visitor attractions. Bedrooms are lovely although smaller than pics, there is no drawer space in the rooms. The room gets very warm at night, fan provided. Couldn’t open the window which there are 2 of. Inside one opens but other never so no fresh air coming into room.
Bathroom is lovely and the towels are fluffy and a decent size!! Don’t see the point in the 2 chairs as take up room. Hotels.com advertise there is a safe in the room, there is NOT. No single safes downstairs either just a safe at reception should you choose to use it. Had we known this we would NOT have booked the hotel, the reason we booked this hotel was it stated there was a safe in room which we look for when travelling. The hallways are dated compared to rooms and could be updated. We were in room 507 which is 80 stairs up on the 4th floor so if you’re not feeling energetic best ask for room on lower floor as there are no lifts.
There is no luggage room either and bags are stored in reception at window area. The staff are pleasant however you cannot tell staff from guests as no set uniform apart from being black and white some wear leggings and T-shirt.
Breakfast is ok. Continental, cereals, breads, fruit, pastries, cheese, ham and you are offered toast.
Plenty places to eat round about.
The Dublin express bus from airport stops 5-10mins round corner from hotel which is ideal. A return ticket is around €18ppand no set return date.

Great location and right on the tram route. Walk to St Steven’s Park and Grafton St. Room was small, but not surprising given that it is an old downtown hotel. But the room was very nice and the bathroom was great. Updated with a walk-in shower and good counter space. The breakfast room was great. Fresh coffee, breads, fruit etc. The best part of breakfast is the attention that Michael and staff offer the guests. Downside was there’s no lobby or real seating area to just relax and hangout to read a book. There is also a nightclub across the street that gets kind of loud. So get a room towards to back of the hotel if you can. I’d stay again.

Beautiful five story row house that has gone through some times and changes and is now a relatively affordable hotel in Dublin, within walking distance to the touristy things. Lots of party noise in the area, but that's part of urban life. Wonderful breakfasts, a standout amenity. The staff were most kind.

Was very impressed with the building, and the staff. Our room was clean and served its purpose well. Breakfast had a nice variety and the staff were very kind and polite.
The ONLY “issue” was the bar/nightclub near the property. We had our window open at night bcuz the room was warm. If you have the window closed, you will not here the “fun!”
Overall, I would definitely recommend and stay there again!!

Arrived fron US before noon & expected to drop off luggage before exploring Dublin, but the receptionist said our room was ready & we could check in. So we were able to get a quick nap!

Beautiful B&B in a historic home, very nicely updated rooms, comfortable bed. Best part was the hosts, David and Chris, who really helped us out with an issue we had (totally unrelated to our stay with them), and who gave great advice on what to see and how to get there. The breakfasts were fantastic, with nice options and a portable option for the day we left before breakfast. We stayed in several bed and breakfasts during our visit to Ireland and Wales, and this one was the best. One word of advice to close out this review: staying in a B&B in a restored, historic home generally means the rooms are modestly sized. There is only so much the owner can do to provide en suite private bathrooms for each bedroom in an old stone building. If you want a large room, you're most likely going to have to be flexible about where you stay and how much you pay.
