This hotel was rated four stars, Definitely did not seem to be. The rooms were extremely small and smelled like cat pee.

When I booked this as a 4-star hotel, my expectations were a bit higher than what it was. There were no major issues with the room or hotel but bunch of minor things that could be addressed. Torn carpeting in the hallway, shower drain was partially clogged, old fashioned metal key, hard to properly adjust the room temp, and not the most plush bed, just to name a few. Great location, nice staff, and overall decent value. If this was classified as a 3 or 3.5 star property, I probably would have given it a 5-star rating. As such, if the price is comparable to 3-star hotels, this would be a great value and there should be not hesitancy staying here.

Excellent. The location is perfect. It is off to the side in a quiet straight but close to everything. Safe and nice area. The hotel itself is basic with everything you need and nothing more. Value for cost was good. The attached restaurant named Snaps was very good. Parking is on street using the parka app and I had no problem finding a space both all three times I parked. If no luck then it’s free parking at the national church five minutes away. I will stay here again.

Good location. Everything you need. Friendly helpful staff. My room was small.
The bathroom was poorly set up. Very small. A corner shower stall with only a shower curtain. Water leaked all over the floor when the shower was on, even if it was properly closed

Everything was fine. We did have to walk a bit for food, but pretty easy to roam the streets/shop. Eye opening experience as we haven't travelled much. Very interesting place!

Terrific location close to restaurants and shopping and walking areas in the central city. Staff was great, helpful and very accommodating.
Property is older with limited connectivity in the room and opportunity for controlling temperature in the room.

The staff was helpful and friendly. We stayed in a family suite and it was a good size and had a small refrigerator which was nice to have. Parking is only on the street and the attached restaurant was very expensive, but there are several options nearby to walk to. Would definitely stay again!

The room was spacious and comfortable. Great location central to all downtown attractions. Front desk was very friendly. Breakfast was disappointing for the price they charged as it was not included. The restaurant setting was very pretty with all live plants

Very comfortable room. It could have more space for storing clothes, but we were there for only 2 nights and it was perfect! Very clean and comfortably room. Friendly and courteous staff. Prime location ose to everything. Definitely an excellent choice! And breakfast was delicious. Thank you for everything!

The Odinsve Hotel was very resonsive to pre-checkin inquiries. Checkin was quick and efficient and we were able to checkin early after an overnight flight. The spacious room on the top floor had its own balcony with great views of Reykjavik. The bed was very comfortable and the room and bathroom were very clean. Hotel staff gave us dining recommendations, allowed us to store our luggage, and arranged a taxi to pick us up. We stayed in the Hotel Odinsve 32 years ago and it's our favorite hotel in Reykjavik.
