A small town dated accommodation throughout this experience. The newest part is the gym where there are only 5 pieces of equipment with one broken during our 10-day stay.
We do like old school hotels when traveling in Europe. However at Notarie, it simply needs a facelift with current style of mamagement. WiFi needs to up the game.
First off, that old tapestry odor in the room needs to be eliminated. The dusts at the bathroom ceiling vent (415) needs to be removed. Toilet bowl waterstains (424). WhatsApp customer service line needs to be setup while getting rid of the in-room telephone. Stiff, old school front desk could be loosen up and be able to multitask.
We did enjoy the daily fresh bedsheets and towels.
Dylan at the front desk was helpful while Ro at breakfast was friendly, personal and yet professional. Brava !

Wonderful hotel! Warm and welcoming front desk staff. Clean, comfortable, quiet room. Varied breakfast options. Great location, walking distance to everything. I look forward to staying here again.

The hotel room is very large and clean. But the cleaner has no patent we are told to leave the room because she want to clean the room. There's is no options for the cleaner that said not to disturb and the breakfast is not great. Staffs are alright.

Great location inside the Reggio Emilia town, nice setting and conditions. Staff is welcoming and very professional. Quiet place and outstanding breakfast buffet. Walkable distance to bus station. Shopping and food/bars around the corner.

Lovely people, great location, great breakfast (I can recommend the doppio cappuccino also!). Spacious room and very helpful front desk who helped us with restaurant bookings.

The property could not have been in a better location. Although you do need a car to get to the hotel from the train station it was still within ten minutes. We used Reggio Emilia as a home base throughout our stay and found it to be a good decision.

Overall a good stay. A little difficult to find late at night since some streets were only pedestrian and phone maps didn’t indicate that (not the hotels fault of course). Nice stay and nice they have a 24 hour check-in available also.

Very nice room, very large with large bathroom as well. Location is city center with proximity to many restaurants, parks and attractions.
