Car Park to far away (especially when its raining really hard). Directions to hotel entrance disappear half way along the promonade.
Quite a wait to check in, only one person at reception desk.
All that over with, a friendly chap checked me in and i was off to my nice sized, very clean and modern room with an amazing balcony and view over the marina.
Ignoring the car park distance and slow check in this is a great hotel in a great location (When you finally find it)

A well provided small double room with coffee making facilities plus air dryer and a lovely modern bathroom. Great views of the Marina. Very pleasant staff.
Great amenities nearby.
We will certainly stay at Malmaison again.

The hotel is great. Very clean and has an elevated contemporary feel for the price. Check in was phenomenal with a special shout out to Sam, who was fantastic.
We ate in the restaurant and although the food was excellent and the staff really lovely, it was clear that they were very short staffed, as it took ages to order, I waited 30 minutes for my drink, and the food took a very long time to arrive. We ate a starter and main and, were seated for over 2 hours. I asked for the bill as soon as our main course arrived as feared we’d be there 3 hours! The staff were apologetic and they couldn’t have done more with the few that were there.

Lovely stay and the room was great, the black out curtains are a must and happy this was thought about. Only thing that was a little disappointing was the balcony in the pictures when booked looked liked was separate to the room, one of the reasons I booked, however was communal area when opening the door. I would definitely stay again and would promote others to booked a stay here.

Great hotel, when ordering breakfast ask for beans. Although they are part of the full English breakfast menu they do not serve the beans with the breakfast.

Very warm welcome from the reception team, really lovely room with a great view! I really liked the fact we could park without breaking the bank like pretty much every other Brighton Hotel, would recommend using the X1 bus into the City to save your feet but it’s easily walkable along the seafront if you want to get those steps in!

The hotel is far smaller that we expected and a few mins walk from the multi storey car park. Reception was staffed by a nice guy, good service etc. the rooms however are really small and not what I would expect for £200 a night. Overall disappointing and wouldn’t stay again.

Twrrible. Worst hotel I've experienced for years. People in next rooms were partying all night and were v.loud. walls like paper.
Car park a long outdoor/exposed walk in heavy rain.
I will never stay at a Malmaison again.

Staff went above & beyond to help. We had booked Club Deluxe Seaview with Balcony & were given a room on second floor. It was light & airy but it didnt have a private balcony like we had thought - instead it was a terrace that was segmented per room but not very private. We queried this and were offered a room on the 3rd floor. This was much darker and felt smaller. Note - the balcony is only half width & very tiny. We actually preferred the second floor room as it was much brighter. On the second night our tv stopped working but the General Manager Paul was brilliant and did all he could to help. The issue was resolved the following day & we received complimentary drinks. Overall,we had a really nice stay & would recommend the hotel.

The hotel is situated a few minutes by car to Brighton and is in a great quiet location in the marina. First class rooms and exceptional staff makes it our go to place anytime we will go to Brighton.
