WiFi is terrible and maintenance staff is not friendly at all. Restaurant staff is very good and friendly. Front desk staff is OK, but no so welcoming.

All staff were very sweet and helpful. The hotel has a bar which is not used cause its not advertised much. It has the opportunity to even convert to a club or lounger.. awesome design there.

This hotel has beautiful view of the volcano! The staff was incredibly helpful! Hotel was very close to all the restaurants, within walking distance, clean, lots of pool options . Will definitely go back

Vacation with family. We stayed for 5 nights at the property. We have the Junior suite, balcony volcano view. The view was amazing. The staffs were very friendly and kind. The property is located in the center of everything, walk distance to town, convenient to all major attractions, pharmacy and urgent care is right next door if needed. We will stay again if we ever plan to visit La Fortuna again!

The staff was friendy and kind! They were right there to help us with our needs. Breakfast buffet was nice and their coffee was delicious. Chocolate mousse cake was awsome!

Everyone so nice and helpful. Beds SO comfortable and I’m really picky! The waterfall showers were incredible. Fantastic overall nothing negative to say.

Excellent location and proximity to many activities in the area, garden and pools are beautiful. View to the Arenal Vulcan is beautiful.

The quick check-in process. Welcoming staff and the breakfast is delicious. I have stayed at Magic Mountain Hotel three times and every time has been a pleasant experience.

We reached the hotel early and was prepared to wait but Juan was very swift to check us in. A big shout out to Jurgen who was a delight, very polite, respectful and had a beaming smile and made sure that my request was taken care of and that we had a wonderful stay. Waiter Calo during breakfast was another staff who provided great custoner service, others did not bother to come to us, not cool. Bell boy Franklin was great too. Sorry but breakfast was bland and did not have any flavor or taste. Overall a good stay because of all the reasons above except the breakfast was a big let down.

The property was just ok.. the cleanliness was a bit lacking and the property was old. The was a specific odor to the place. It could use some updates. The location was great. You could see the volcano from the rooms and restaurants, bars, shops were a walking distance. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

The view was beautiful of the volcano, some of the staff was amazing but the main faces were rude and they didn’t hide it at all.

Pictures do not do it justice. Hotel was great room was just right and the cleaned pergevtly everyday we asked for it. Staff was great with bag help and setting up excursions. Location was great 5$ cab to downtown and con vienient to be picked up for excursions. Volcano is right with a great view from the deck!!!
Had a few minor things with the restaraunt but still an 8/10. Upstairs there is a small patio for drinks and bar menu, tables had swings for seats, wife loved it.
Could use a nice chair in the room is my only comment for the hotel.
Building and amenities 9/10 but the people are a genuine 12/10!!
You wont be dissapointed!!
