Hotel os old and smell like mold. Service and food was terrible. I got really sick with food poison after eating at the hotel restaurant.

My family and I stayed 4 nights at Hotel Giardino, and it largely served its purpose: a comfortable and convenient place to sleep in between trips to Hot Park. The food was decent, the beds were comfortable enough, and the shuttle service was frequent and convenient. However, the rooms need some updating. Our toilet paper holder was barely hanging on to the wall. The bedroom A/C unit randomly leaked water in the middle of the night, and there was a piece of styrofoam used as a shim between the unit and the wall to prevent it from making a rattling noise, which we had to readjust about once a day. Also, the walls are paper thin; you can hear almost any movement in the adjacent rooms. The beds between my room and the adjacent room must have been sitting flush against the same wall, because I felt the bed shake with every movement from the other side of the wall in the adjacent room. Don't have much to say about the amenities; we didn't hang around the property much. We walked past the hotel pool once, and saw a lonely lifeguard sitting next to an empty pool. Admittedly, with Hot Park tickets included in your stay, why would anyone use the hotel pool anyway? There are plenty of restaurants, souvenirs, clothing stores and a pharmacy within a 10-minute walk from the property, so the hotel isn't totally isolated from everything, which we found nice when we weren't at Hot Park. Overall, the experience wasn't terrible, but our room issues would make us rethink staying here again

1) Check-in took us 2 hours!! because their system is NOT made for foreigners! 2) Apartments in desperate need of reforming 3) No towels in the rooms! 4) the transfers to and from the park was fine BUT it was always overcrowded. Overall, the nature is beautiful but the impression is that the management is only after money… so sad…

The park pools are a true beautiful place. Very clean and well taken cared of. However, the hotel Room was not pleasant at all. My room smelled like mould, the bathroom was not cleaned properly (you could see black mould marks building up in the shower) and one of our towels had brown stains. The buffet was also a disappointment with little variety of fruits, vegetables and meat. Also there were a few flies sitting on the food by the buffet which was quite disgusting. I hate giving bad reviews specially to a place so deared to me. I stayed in Rio Quente resorts over 10 times and I would go back again but definitely wouldn’t stay at Giardino.

Check in took about 2 hours causing the elderly folks in our party a lot of discomfort. They gave us a hard time for not having a brazilian ID # even though we are foreign. The hotel rooms was falling apart, we couldn't even get the door open half the time. It constantly smelled like cigarettes inside the bathroom. The pull out couch did not even have a mattress. They confused everyone's names in our party so we ended up having to split the total at the end because we don't know who ordered what. It was overall a bad experience

Great hotel to stay at if you are going to the water parks. Convienent shuttle service 24 hrs a day.

The Hot park is very good and the fonts park is calm and with hot water for everything.
