Georgetown inn is the best. We never stay anywhere else when we travel to Canmore and Banff. Love Georgetown and the miners pub is fantastic

Staff were friendly and the room was inviting and very clean.
Nice welcoming touch with the hand written greeting card, fresh cookies and beautiful tea set.
Beds were on the hard side and the room was too warm. The window blinds did not come all the way down, although we could close the drapes. Was a bit unsettling for female travellers staying on the first floor. Staff were receptive to feedback.
We didn’t dine there however peeked into the restaurant, which appeared busy and the fish and chips looked great.

Charming! Loved our stay at the Georgetown Inn. An affordable and comfortable stay near Banff. Staff was very friendly. Would definitely stay again and recommend to others. The pub was also great, we enjoyed a breakfast and dinner there. The wood fire was a great touch.

More like a bed & breakfast with each room different. Excellent restaurant downstairs for meals. Rooms were very clean & comfortable. They had both coffee maker & tea kettle and provided delicious lemon shortbread cookies. Canmore is a wonderful city that is very walkable.

There was very little I didn’t like. The only thing I would have changed is a grab bar in the bath. We old folks need things like that. The staff both in the inn and the pub were wonderful and helpful. I was totally impressed with the charm and character of Georgetown.

This property is unique- it is old and historic with a quaint cosy feel like grandmas house. The restaurant is a plus with very good English style food and pub. The breakfast was delicious. The inn has a 3 star feel. Rooms are large and beds are very comfortable. Staff is friendly and helpful. It is hard to compare with other hotels. It is definitely a matter of preference whether you prefer modern hotel styles or historic bed & breakfast style for your stays.
