It was an overnight stay so we didn’t need much. We couldn’t see the closeness of the beach but people were walking carrying their beach chair so I assumed it was nearby. Staff weren’t very welcoming and we always had to wait for someone to come out for assistance at the desk.

We enjoyed the the hotel and the service. They were friendly and courteous. Too bad we had to cut our visit short because of the hurricane. But we planned on come on going back.

I loved the size and roominess of the two queen bedroom However the fan did not work in the bathroom And you had to stay at the property for four days or more In order to get Your room serviced, Which I found odd.. All around it was a great property to stay at and would recommend

My wife, daughter, and I recently stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn Destin Miramar Beach for a late anniversary/family trip, and overall, it was a pleasant experience. However, a few aspects left us disappointed, especially as Hilton rewards members. Pros: The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Special mention goes to **Lisa**, who was especially pleasant and went out of her way to ensure we were comfortable. Another staff member, a shorter woman with glasses (whose name we unfortunately didn’t catch), was equally kind and helpful. We loved the **balcony room**, which provided a nice view of the town. The room itself was spacious, clean, and perfect for our family. The location of the hotel is excellent, just a short drive to the beach, making it convenient for quick trips to the water. Cons: As a loyal **Hilton Rewards member**, I’ve always appreciated being recognized during my stays, even when booking through third-party sites. However, on this occasion, the manager informed me that because I booked through a third-party site, I wouldn’t be acknowledged as a Hilton Honors member, nor would I earn points for my stay. A 5 minute walk to the beach made things very convenient. The hotel was exactly what I’d hoped good. Nice and pretty quite and good location. Good breakfast (that you have to pay for). Decent bar and pool and friendly staff. Good place to stay if you plan on most of your time being spent in Destin is outside of the hotel room.

The only concern I had was a desk lamp that wasn’t working correctly and the staff fixed it immediately! Everyone was super nice and very accommodating and I absolutely recommend this place. The beach was a quick walk across the street and anything else I needed whether it be CVS, the grocery store, a restaurant or even the outlets- everything was a quick walk from the hotel. The hot water wasn’t necessarily “hot” but if warm water is not a deal breaker for you, it’s the perfect hotel for a quick stay (I stayed 3 days, 2 nights but I would of stayed longer if I needed to).

Overall, we enjoyed our stay. Wouldn’t recommend staying on the first floor .. it was super noisy closer to the common area.

You could tell there have been water leaks in the ceiling, there were hairs on the shower walls, mold in the corners in the shower, the shower door was not working well and the bracket was loose, the sink drained very slowly, and the door lock was messed up the whole time. One of the supervisors was rude and acted like she didnt care at all. Only offered bare minimum to help. Had to speak with the GM who was very nice to get more to make it worth our stay. Rough crowds staying there, pool wasnt cleaned very well the entire time we stayed. Gate locks were needing batteries replaced. Recommend staying somewhere else

They also offer a complimentary golf cart shuttle to the access if you have items you’re toting, etc. Brenda was an excellent driver and very very friendly and personal. Mary Jane was excellent at checking. However, for the Hilton brand name, the cleanliness and quality of the room I stayed in is subpar to the brand. There was a significant amount of mold on the wall inside the bathroom above the door. The beds squeaked at the tiniest movement. The lights and outlets that are built into the headboard also did not work. Overall, would probably stay here again, the rooms just need some detail cleaning and maintenance checks.

It was an amazing stay. Staff was so nice. Ladie that works at a bar was very sweet. Housekeeping ladies helped me out with whatever I needed all I had to do is ask. The only thing I wish that you guys have complementary breakfast more than just coffee.

We traveled all the way from Georgia I confirmed my reservation over phone twice got there around 11:45 pm and the lady tried to tell me my reservation was canceled. I showed her my reservation and then that’s when she proceeded to look for it. Also they managed to take money out of two accounts. I paid 973.08 and then they took out 200.85 of other account and stated they didn’t authorize it but my account showed it was keyed in. They also tried to charge my sister more when she was checking out. This is my second time staying here and unfortunately I will now have to find a new hotel for my birthday tradition. The room also had dead roaches beware.
