The hotel staff were very nice and helpful. The hotel was located in a lane way not accessible to cars. We had to drag our luggage down the lane and steps to get to the hotel which was on top of a hill. The hotel room had no air conditioning and no closets. It was quaint. The restaurant was great. Lovely views and the food was delicious. The breakfast was very good and healthy. The service was very good.

Fauna Hotel is located at mid-hill level of Valparaiso and visit to historic buildings can be done in foot. The hotel also lies in restricted area where large vans are forbidden to enter. Passengers and luggages have to be dropped off the main road and there is a distance of 10 min walk to move between the hotel and drop off location. However, taxi and small vans can reach the hotel at closer range. But still there is a distance of about 30 metres to walk through. However, the hotel staff and friendly and helpful. The room and toilet are clean and reasonbly spacious. Restaurant is located at upper floor and has good overlooking view of the city and serves dinner and breakfast. Breakfast food is good though choice is rather limited. I reccommend the hotel for short stays of one or two days where visit to historical locations is the main purpose.

Stay here for the view, and tranquility… when the pigeons are not fighting outside 😁 I did not sleep well because of the birds and general noise (obviously completely out of hotel control) but also because the room was stuffy. If you open windows the noise becomes more prevalent, but without opening there is no airflow. Highly recommend the hotel put a floor fan in each room. Otherwise, very kind staff and cute restaurant upstairs.

Room was comfortable, nice good quality bed, bathroom has a good size too. We got a room with amazing sea view. Restaurant at the hotel has a very beautiful view too and good food for lunch. Cons: Breakfast is really fair and eggs are available upon request and are not well prepared, bread was awful. Very little offer and fruits not looking fresh either. Our room with sea view was extremely noisy

FANTASTIC! The hotel is located in one of the main walking alleys in Valparaíso. The staff was great, gave us advise and were always helpful. They have a great restaurant with a terrace that rounds up the experience. The only thing to consider is that it might not be accesible to people with reduced mobility.

Very unique hotel. Perfect location for walking and discovering the area with graffiti everywhere. The staff are lovely and helpful with heavy luggage. Thankyou Sebastion!!

I loved being at the top of the hill and near fun dining and shopping options! The hotel is very unique and fun and the terrace restaurant has fantastic views! The staff was very friendly as well.

Amazing building spread through a number of original Valparaiso houses. Great location in the middle of Cerro Alegre. Great staff, professional and friendly Claudia from reception couldn’t do enough to make my stay one yo remember. Will go back for sure.

Really unique hotel in an excellent area. Staff and restaurant were awesome. Only thing we didn't like was that the Wifi was not great and unfortunately that is an important thing for us when we travel.

Staff is very helpful however need to provide more information and directions to if anything else is available and or working. For example had climb two huge stories up to find out if room to room phone could be done.

Staff was helpful but getting to property with bags is very difficult for senior people. Taxi does not drop off at hotel.

We loved the hotel and what they have done with the pre-existing older homes, the renovation and reuse of old materials is impressive. We love that they're working at being eco friendly. Our room was very clean and comfortable. The view from our room and from breakfast was amazing. The front desk staff were so very helpful, espcailly Sebastian and Vincent (I believe). Thank you to everyone!
