Great staff

Stay was good, the manager was friendly. Room was as expected, I liked the kitchen. Property was old but the room was comfy and clean. Only problem I had was the screaming lady about every 2 to 3 hours during the night. Not sure if it was the room next to me or a neighboring property.

Functional motel a couple of miles from the harbor. The owner is very conscientious and thoughtful. The property is old and not in the best condition (e.g., broken safety lock on door, no screens on windows, tv not hooked up, bouncy mattress with springs we could feel), but for the price compared to other properties in the area, it was fine.

Great location, only a block and a half to the beach, lots of restaurants around the hotel and on the way to the beach…great room, bed comfortable and shower was great! Great staff and very friendly…

The property manager was incredibly nice and was always willing to help and had a smile! Not expensive but quality room and a good area. Would highly recommend

The manager Mayur was friendly until there was a problem. I had two problems, with no resolution. 1) There was no hot water in the morning. I ran the shower for 20 minutes. No hot water, no shower. I told Mayur this in a call about five hours after I left, as the office was empty when I left. He said in a later call that he tested the water and it was hot, and that my room was one of five rooms that used the same water heater, so another room may have used up the hot water. That doesn’t help. There was no offer of a partial refund or an apology. The room was mediocre at best, but I only needed a bed and a shower for a night. 2) I had to take an urgent trip and booked the room the night before I needed it. I saw at 5 am the next morning that I mistakenly booked for the day after I needed the room. I contacted Hotels.com to change the reservation, but there was no one at the motel, so the rep suggested I cancel the first reservation and rebook for that day. He canceled my reservation and processed a refund request while I rebooked. Note: My initial booking was $145 and my rebooking was $254 -- $399 total. After multiple tries, Hotels.com informed me that my refund request was denied. I subsequently spoke with Mayur 4 times about refunding my initial booking, and each time, he promised to look into it and get back to me. He never did. I have had to follow up, but no resolution. I judge a business by its integrity, and at this establishment there is none. Booker beware.

All the other power outlets seemed to have been "deleted" and replaced with blank faceplates instead. One of the other outlets was dead. Plumbing in shower not done properly. After toilet is flushed water disappears in the sink next to the toilet and in the shower. You will need to wait till toilet tank fills up before water appears in sink and shower again. Many other maintenance issues, some are safety related, like closing the door and holding your hand on the knob may actually nip your fingers off, as there was just about 1/4-inch gap between the doorknob and the door casing. The room was very adequate for us , the staff were very amiable and attentive to our needs, and the owner is a real nice and friendly person .

It was safe and affordable. I just needed a place to sleep. I stayed another hotel by seaward Ave in ventura the night before. It was so noisy that i didn't get a good sleep

Hotel wasn good nothing fancy but solid room and it was clean. Staff was great and informative. 5 minute drive to the beach. Lots of places to eat all around great location.

It was safe and affordable. I just needed a place to sleep. I stayed another hotel by seaward Ave in ventura the night before. It was so noisy that i didn't get a good sleep

Checkin staff very friendly. Room set up odd. Had to look side ways from bed to see TV. No coffee on room or at checkin area. Adequate/workable for one night stay.
