The location of the hotel is close to a subway. The area around is sketchy and nothing much to look at.

Our stay at the Comfort Inn was awesome. We were a group of 6 for a business/Fun weekend in NY Trip. The staff was wonderful and very attentive to the changes we had to do. Would like to send a special Thanks for Daiysha and Linda for their outstanding perfessionalism to our needs. Great job and couldn't ask for a better/ best customer care & service!

I had a terrible experience. A pair of new shoes that I had bought in New York City was stolen from my room. The lobby staff refused to file a complaint or report the situation. The hotel manager was contacted and he did not file a report. During the cleaning of the room, the shoe case, box and the tennis shoes were stolen. It was a gift for my wife. I do not recommend the hotel. The employees treated me unkindly. You can call me at 7874316116 for an interview, in Spanish.

I was charged a different (20 dollars more) than the rate promised by Hotels.com. I had proof of the rate I agreed to with Hotels.com that the hotel itself did not honor. I will not be using Hotels.com again as a search engine.

Its right adjacent to the interstate highway so its a little noisy all hours if your room is facing. The hotels windows are decent. Breakfast was good. Its clean and confortable. Room are spacious.

We had a room with a king bed and a living room for extra space. That room needs a table. We originally booked our room for two nights. With taxes, the rate was about $202 a night. We were here in NYC to help our son, who is a student, move in to his apartment. We ended up extending our stay another night. When we checked on availability of our room, we were told we could stay another night but we had to pay a higher rate. We were not happy about that. No one else had reserved the room. We were already there. Why not give us the courtesy of charging us the same rate? We were giving you more business and it was disrespectful to charge us more. The staff didn't seem to care. Other complaints: why charge us for parking? If there is a spot available on your lot, extend the courtesy of free parking to your guests. Also, the last night we were there, there were three women yelling at each other right by our car in the hotel parking lot. They were standing on the service road side of the parking lot but there was a security guard in the hotel lobby who just sat there and didn't bother to come out and ask them to move along. Lastly, as we extended our stay that last night, we had not paid for parking for the third night YET. We got a call from a hotel staff member at 11:45 at night! asking us to pay for parking. We could have taken care of it the next morning during checkout. Were they going to tow our care at midnight? Other problems: spotty internet and TV signal.

Comfort Inn is our preferred lodging destination for staying when coming to NY Yankees games. Always enjoy our stay. Staff is great and rooms are nice and clean. Did have one issue this time as TV was unwatchable as all channels would continuously lose reception for a few seconds a couple times every minute. Otherwise the stay was excellent.
