Great place to stay, just outside of Hammondsport. Our room was very nice, clean and everything we needed was included. The breakfast was a real bonus to start your day. We met a group, from Sweden and a couple from PA while we ate our breakfast. We will be back !

The proprietor was very nice but the room was very worn and not very clean, the bed was uncomfortable, the bedspread and blanket were worn polyester (think '80s fabrics). Continental breakfast was meager, low-quality food.

This is a good, clean, no frills property. Don’t expect amenities like a swimming pool, but as long as you can get this place for a reasonable rate, this is your place. The staff was excellent and friendly.

I know this is a mom-and-pop type establishment and it's a cute roadside motel on the outside, but the room and its fixtures could use updating and some brightening up.

Great place to stay. The inn keeper is extremely friendly & accommodating. This was my 2nd time staying there and would def come back.

The room itself was clean but not moldy smell. Bed was itchy and cover underneath the blanket was torn and not sure if that is what make us itchy . Air conditioner loud all night with clinking noise díd not sleep at all. Left early

The family /couple managing this motel have doe a very nice job modifying and decorating it (Check out the red refrigerator in Room 8!) They were especially accomodating in terms of the continental breakfast and other needs/questions we had about the area, restaurants, etc.

Very nice owners who take pride in their Establishment. Large comfortable clean rooms, Modern baths and super comfortable beds. Outdoor meeting area on the veranda With fire Pits, many Comfortable chairs. Highly recommend this establishment, if you're in the area of hammondsport/bath my.

Clean, quiet and a relaxing place to stay, highly recommend!

Despite this hotels age, it was extremely clean and well kept. The beds were so comfortable and I didn’t find one single hair anywhere. It was spotless. The owners were the nicest people I’ve ever met. They went out of their way to make us happy, even driving us to a venue when we needed help. They truly went above and beyond and for the price of the room it was very surprising. If you want to have a nice, relaxing room, friendly/prompt service, then I would highly recommend staying here. It’s only a 5-10 min drive from the wineries and town square.

We had the pleasure of staying here for one night on our USA road trip. Admittedly, I accidentally missed the check-in time by a couple of hours and one of the owners stayed up to wait for us. I felt incredibly bad for not being reachable by phone (my phone was on airplane mode), as they had left a message to verify we were still on our way. Around 10pm or so, we arrived, tired and apologetic. The man was SO friendly and accommodating, making sure we found our room alright. Upon entering I was delighted to see there were old stained glass windows by the door. The next morning I was thrilled to see them with beautiful light pouring through— old charm I absolutely adore. The room was clean, spacious, and thoughtfully decorated with a door that opened up to balcony access complete with table and chairs. I would recommend staying there to anyone. A warm and inviting stay.

We enjoyed our stayed and would considering staying at the Vinehurst again in the future when visiting the area.
