During our stay the hot tub wasn't functioning properly and swimming pool while technically an "indoor pool" the door to the outside was in a constant state of open. Possibly a soon to be remolded section. None of this really bothered us much but I will say the layout is a bit confusing. Like different hotels that were bought up and now have the same owner. Breakfast is in the same place as the office. But it was a drive for us to get there. Could have been walked but if there was bad weather you wouldn't want to due to the nature walk outside to a different building. Our building was where the pool and hot tub were. Not that we needed the amenities since we had a Jacuzzi in our room that worked perfectly. I will say the wifi was inconsistent. Like the office was where the router was and occasionally the wifi would drop from my phone. Overall it was a nice stay though. Service was top notch. Just inconvenient having the distance between buildings involved

Even though they are undergoing renovations, the staff made extra effort to make sure our stay was comfortable. Great room! Fire place & jacuzzi. Good breakfast in the morning. Would love to stay here again!

Pros: -The people were awesome! -The beds were comfy -The bathtub was wide and really great -Breakfast was good, especially the coffee! -It was quiet and relaxing -Fridge and microwave were great Cons: -I was given keys to an already occupied room -New room was really damp, mold on artwork -Cleaning was insufficient- hair ball behind bathroom door, beverage spill on baseboard behind suitcase holder (i didn't try to look for anything else because i didn't wavy to find anything else!) -AC didn't help with damp sir and was slow to adjust the room temp -Pillows smelled kind of moldy

The property is undergoing upgrades that were not done by the previous owner. The rooms are spacious and clean. The staff was wonderful and the location is great. We will be returning and can't wait to see the potential of the lodge and resort.

It has new ownership and they are trying to renovate and that leaves the property with an overall look as unkempt. We had a nice large room, a balcony but the wood on the balcony was rotted in areas; the room had an old musty carpet smell and the color scheme was less than appealing but it wasn't filthy, just needing upgrades. The folks there were fantastic, could not have been better! Breakfast was ok but could improve. We were only there 2 nights and we weren't in the room much so overall, it was a decent stay.

Love it here. Hotel and room was clean. They could use better breakfast but over all we loved it and will be booking with this hotel again.

We paid extra to have a room with a balcony but we couldn’t use it. It’s an older hotel that’s being remodeled, which is great, but the AC unit was dripping so much water on the balcony that it was a large puddle you couldn’t avoid. The room has been updated in some ways but the furniture was so sparse that there was only one side table with a lamp between two rooms. The remote for the bedroom TV wouldnt work because it was for a different model of television. And I’ll just not comment about the hairs on the sheets. I’m trying to forget it already. Overall I feel like we were given the most basic and under furnished room because we didn’t book directly thru the hotel. We have stayed here in the past but I think this will be our last.

Everything was great except for the loud people above us, stomping around until 230am. People with kids should be put on the first floor.

Staff incredibly helpful.This an old, once upon a time, destination location that has new ownership and management who are restoring and upgrading a large facility which is really good now and getting greater by the day. The area is peaceful and dining great and its a short trip to Gatlinberg and Pigeon Forge and other similar attractions.

We stayed 2 nights last week and enjoyed our stay. We had no issues, the room was clean and the property was quiet and we felt it was a good value. We enjoyed the indoor pool too! Would definitely stay here again.
