Outstanding location!
Was so easy to beach the fay!

Stayed in room #5 and it was hands down the best place to stay. The room was clean and the entire set up was superior. The room had 2 water bottles, coffee and hot chocolate, it had popcorn and a microwave and cups for usbto use. They also left us ice in a small igloo! The bathroom was spotless! I would definitely suggest for you to stay here. I will definitely stay there again!

This is our second stay at this inn. We love the privacy, the decor, the friendliness of the staff and the location. A nice walk to the beach, restaurants and easy access to Hwy 101. We will be back on our next trip through central CA.

We were pleasantly surprised by the expertly renovated and modernized rooms. As close to the highway as the Inn was it was amazingly quiet at night. The grounds were immaculate and the pool was private and comfortable. A perfect stay and the price was very reasonable. We will be back!

Very clean and cozy. The decor is very beautiful and small touches like mints and very fluffy towels made all the difference. Shower was better than my own at home.

Great little motel! The staff was very friendly the room was beyond my expectation with heated tiles in the bathroom and on top of that they had a heated pool. It’s also in a very walkable location for dining and supplies

My husband and I truly enjoyed our stay at this wonderfully cozy inn (Room 5). Denise the receptionist was cordial. She didn't go out of her way to make us feel welcome. But she definitely was not rude. However the owner was extremely kind, welcoming and friendly. The room was impeccably designed and modern. The grounds were well maintained. Towels were readily available. The housekeeping lady along with the gentleman I think was possibly the maintenance worker were WONDERFUL!!! . They both were absolutely ACCOMDATING AND KIND. Keep them on your staff roster. Parking was convenient. The television, microwave, and refrigerator was a great touch. My husband and I look forward to another visit soon. God bless you abundantly! We had a great stay! I will definitely look to book at tje shell beach inn when i go to the area again. Everything was clean, staff was very polite and welcoming. I didn't hear any road noise during the night. We walked around the whole area too.

Terrible! I know what boutique inn means but this was awful. The sink was clogged (it would take a minimum of 45 minutes for the water to go down), there was an extremely dirty sponge that stunk up the whole place. A sponge is not that expensive, this place needs to offer a new sponge for each stay. There's no ice machine, it's provided by staff in a water cooler - why would anyone trust that? Who knows how that's cleaned and where the ice is coming from! There are three bowls and ALL 3 bowls were dirty and it's not like I had a new sponge to wash them. How are they still in business? No sanitary measures! Most important to me was maid service and I even called before arrival to confirm the procedure and then again when I was there. As directed, I left the maid service magnet on the door when I left and of course the room was not cleaned!!! This was the most important factor to me which is why I called and asked about it! I went for two weeknights when kids are back in school and based on the parking lot there was a total of four guests and they still couldn't accommodate me! But of course the morning I was supposed to check out, housekeeping knocks at 10am to see if I've gone, so needless to say I wouldn't stay here again and never recommend to anyone. Unfortunately this place is woman owned so I know I won't even be offered a partial refund for this inconvenience and incompetence on their part. Just don't stay there please, there are HUNDREDS of other places there!

This boutique hotel exceeded our expectations. Heated pool with heaters at the patio tables. A sitting area outside each room. The staff was so welcoming and everything was great. The beds were comfortable and the room was spacious. We will be returning

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay at the shell beach in. The room was very clean and super cute inside. Had lots of furniture and space to set your things. It was more expensive than we are used to but it was a great area and it was for our anniversary trip so we splurged a little and I'm so glad we did! The lady in the office checking us in was very nice. The bed and pillows were comfortable and lines were fresh. Towels were super soft! We would definitely stay here again but would book a room with a king size bed. The pool was heated and looked very inviting but unfortunately we did not utilize it. Hopefully on our next trip we will. My favorite part was all the plants on the cute patio areas :)
