The room had a awful oder it looked clean but smelled bad .When it got dark other customers set outside and drank and play loud music and we're very noisy the room above me was very noisy and I could hear running across the floor all night I called the front desk and they didn't do nothing about it!!!!!!!

Bathroom sink was falling off the wall, hair dryer was broken. Ceiling tile in kitchen area were broken.

Have realistic Expectations - This isn't a 4/5 star hotel, but it was clean and everything in the room worked. Full Size Beds were just that but were two of them and they were comfortable. WiFi signal strength was a little weak. The 3rd floor was a hike up the steps but we knew that going in so can't realy complain. The walk to the beach was not bad. Little disappointed about having to pay for parking but again when you compare overall cost it was still a value. If you are looking to stay someplace safe with a mid-range cost the Surf Inn is a good option.

This place is not bad. Walking distance to the beach. The place is pretty nice but old. the staff is very friendly specially the Jamaican receptionist, I didn’t get his name but he is very welcoming. There’s one thing i can complain is the there is a person sit on the front of our door knock out all our clothes hanging and left a half full bear on the chair and spill it to our clothes. Other than that this place is amazing.

We have come here for ten years.love the location. This is not a 5 star hotel, but it is great for families who need space. The pool is clean and well maintained. It needs to be sanded down though as the bottom will scratch your feet. The staff and room cleaners are kind and helpful. The rooms are budget. Mattresses should probably be replaced. Towels are clean but stained. One of ours still had a walmart tag on it, so they tried. We love this place for the size of the room, location and kitchenette. If you are laid back, looking for value and fun, this is your place.

The hotel is very old and poorly upkept. The bedding had stains and hair on them. The shower had hair in it and the curtain was stained. The sockets were loose and worn so charging our phones was impossible. The kitchen was not clean. If i didnt come with bleach amd lydol i would have never stayed but for 1 night we made it work.

This was perfect for my husband and I it was close to the beach we highly reconmend!

However it was a very convenient 30 second walk from the beach, and the kitchen and full fridge and freezer were nice. In a solid area around OC too. I would recommend only for a night or 2.

The stay was okay. The employees were excellent! The motel is a bit out dated. The cleanliness of the room was about an 8. I did not use any pots, pans, utensils or dinnerware. We brought our own. The pool could use some proper maintenance. Being close to the beach was great! Would i stay there again? Probably, it wasn't that bad. We've stayed in worse.

Staff was super friendly and accommodating. Actual rooms themselves are a little outdated and don’t have a ton of amenities or kitchen items. Overall not bad for the price.

Very friendly staff. close to the beach, restaurants, and convenient stores and beach shops. For the price I really can’t complain.

Nice stay

Staff was inconsistent and inconsiderate. The room was in very poor condition and check in was a nightmare. They said they were watching the security cameras as people entered and exited the rooms, and if a guest who was not spending the night entered, there would be a fine. Also, the walls and doors were paper thin, offering zero privacy. My security deposit was $200 and the next guest’s was $100. We asked to speak to a manager and were blown off, as they said “they were on vacation and would not help us.” They also made a deal where if we had seven guests in a room that slept six, they would be allowed to spend the night on the porch, which is a stairwell next to a security camera. Sleeping in a jail cell would be more relaxing.

I had drug addicts staying 2 rooms down from me. Watched a drug deal.they were fight n screaming in the room. Towels n wash rags wete stained. The pic of the pool was very deceiving. Way smaller then the pic looked. People running across the floor at 1am in the room above us. Wont stay there again.
