They were short on staff unfortunately due to the Labor Day holiday, but they tried hard. Beautiful place and great value.

The lodge was a lovely place to stay, especially with its Christmas decor. The only negative was having to lug our luggage up a stairway. The beds were super comfortable! The location was just right for visiting Helen GA!

I refuse to rate poorly but feel being honest in written review is important. Traffic was horrible on the way up and we were not going to arrive till after 10pm. While driving we called and on hold waiting for attendant making about 10 calls and 45 min before finally reaching someone. Then we asked about a fire and was informed the fire pit is a community fire pit and we pay for the wood and others can pitch in. We asked about s'mores and were informed the kit was $50.
This is not my first time here. Grounds are great and we enjoyed the location

The shuttle to Helen was very convenient and our driver was super friendly. We so appreciated not having to fight the traffic during Oktoberfest weekend.

Such a beautiful place to stay! Loved the room. Very nice bathroom in room! Will definitely be one of my favorite places to stay! Beautiful Area!!

When we got to our room one of the beds had a soiled stain and the phone in the room didn’t work. I used my cell phone to call the front desk. I held for 30 minutes before anyone picked up. They sent housekeeping and changed the sheets and we noticed the floor was wet from the AC unit. They sent maintenance and she told us that we may swap rooms because the room below us had a leak from the ceiling. We packed up and when maintenance arrived, they used a wet vac to get the water up and said it was leaking through the window and we should be fine. I finally went to bed after midnight. She also said they were extremely short staffed and only had 5 workers when they had 20 before. I asked to be compensated for some of the stay and they said I would have to deal with Expedia. They wouldn’t be able to help with that. It was not a pleasant experience. We were tired and needed to rest before our next early day of activities.

We loved the zip-lining, kayaking, hiking, and Anna ruby falls. Nice views of the north GA mountains. Lodge rooms are fine for our fam of 4. Strong weed smell in our hall, but maybe it’s not always like that.

I liked that the lodge was tucked in the woods. The lodge was big, warm and inviting. I didn't like that our only option for breakfast on the weekend was a buffet. We don't typically eat that much food so ended up going to town for breakfast.

10 yr anniversary, we wanted to go somewhere different. I like the activities offered @ the Resort and how close to Helen.. We hiked the falls .. great time.. the hotel had everything you could need.. nice firm bed.. great View. Looking forward to next time.

Unicoi State Park is beautiful. It was so relaxing to be surrounded by the beautiful landscape and lake.

My husband and I stayed here for our anniversary and it was amazing. Very relaxing, clean, and peaceful. We will definitely be back with our family.

The buffet doesn’t offer lunch and dinner anymore and the breakfast they did have was not good and not worth $40 for the three of us.
