What a wonderful place to stay in West Monroe, LA! John has created a very charming oasis a short walking distance from the restaurant district of West Monroe. The decor reflects John’s very tasteful approach to interior design and the room includes every amenity imaginable. John is a great host who went out of his way to make us feel welcome and comfortable.

Nice quiet location that fit our needs. Owner was very accommodating with our arrival and needs. Location was exceptional and near I-20 and antique alley.

What an amazing group of people that continue celebrating the traditions of the Celtic people. Can’t wait to make Monroe one of our top long weekend adventures. Next time my husband can bring his clubs so I can spend more time in the antique shops- going down memory lane. We’ll be sure to book your carriage house for our stay! Everything we needed you provided. I loved sitting in the back garden each morning sipping my Keurig Community Coffee listening to the birds and being still. We stayed at the John Thomas house over Labor Day weekend and had a wonderful time. The house is beautiful inside and out and is very well decorated. It was a block away from town and we were sent to multiple places to try and go eat and shop. We will definitely be staying again.

This place was as beautiful as it was comfortable. I absolutely loved it. If I'm in the area in the future, I will definitely check on availability to stay here again!
