The buffet in the morning was fantastic. Great private beach ! One evening there was a dj . It could have been many other nights it created a great vine !

The hotel was amazing throughout, staff are very welcoming and friendly and everything about it we had an amazing stay and will definitely be back in the near future. What a wonderful property with amazing staff! Had a great time enjoying all the amenities and facilities there. 2 great pools and perfect location right next to the beach to enjoy a sunset beverage. Hotel is in close proximity to the airport and a newer marina area with plenty of dining options as well so can highly recommend!

Nice hotel, friendly staff, very big buffet for breakfast and dinner. Pool is nice located, also direct access to the sandy beach.
Pity, every second morning at 5.30 AM they were working in the pool/garden area creating terrible noise that woke us up.

The poolside service was wonderful, with ice boxes for water provided for each guest and replenished throughout the day. The spa is definitely worth a visit- Victoria there gives an amazing massage.
Rooms are large and very tastefully designed, with real attention to detail.
The hotel offers plenty of dining options and I especially recommend Soi Soi, the Thai restaurant. Service was so genuine and welcoming and the Tom Yum soup made me feel like I was back in Thailand.

Travelling in Ramadan could have been challenging but the Kempinski was set up for all kinds of visitors and we were able to enjoy pools and food in the grounds in a respectful way and away from guests that would be fasting etc.
We enjoyed body scrubs in the hotel spa that were truly fantastic, and the hotel also sent me a birthday treat on the day of my birthday without any request from the friend I was travelling with.
Based on this experience I would definitely prioritise looking at staying at Kempinski hotels in the future and if/when I return to Oman there is no question that I’d return to this hotel.
It had space for all kinds of travellers and as someone who usually travels alone I’m grateful to feel welcome as a single & childless woman.
