When approaching the lodge, you are greeted by a large private driveway with ample parking for up to four vehicles which is unique to Devon Hills. The lodge has no immediate neighbours to the sides or front elevation giving this property a secluded feel. This tranquillity enhances the sense of privacy and exclusivity, creating an ideal retreat for those seeking a peaceful lifestyle.
The large decking area surrounding 180 degrees of the property, complete with a sunken hot tub, offers the perfect setting for enjoying the serene views. The Glass House has been thoughtfully designed with modern living very much in mind. The modern design includes three motorised ceiling sky lights, vaulted ceilings, raised kitchen area and modern design throughout. The lodge measures 44ft x 22ft which makes it larger than the standard lodge and is built to residential standard BS3632 so that all year living is possible.
Inside the home, you have an open-plan layout which includes a fully fitted kitchen featuring an island unit with 5-burner hob plus, integrated appliances including eye level oven and grill, dishwasher, microwave, washer/dryer, fridge freezer and outside sunken hot tub. Full central heating and the additional benefit of air conditioning in the lounge and master bedroom areas for those hot periods and allergies.
The living area has a generous sized two-piece leather motorised lounge suite with two skylights and five floor to ceiling windows, to emphasise on the natural light. We also have a pull out sofa bed in the lounge. Additionally in this space you have a dining area with two sets of patio double doors that open out on to the attractive decking area with stunning open Devon country views.
Towards the rear, you have two well-proportioned double bedrooms, separate dressing room and ensuite with walk-in shower. Additionally, you have the modern family bathroom suite featuring a beautiful roll top free standing bath.
